Thanks a lot for the review! You helped me pull the trigger on these ones to start building my home gym. With the bundle and your code I ended up paying $796 USD with free shipping and the rack for them!! Super excited! My second choice was the Nuobell but with that pricing I got, the fact they have 1 yr longer warranty by default, that they cover 1 accidental drop, use more metal parts and that they go heavier just made this an absolute winner for me! Can’t wait to get them delivered!
Great video. The information you provided here solidified my decision to go with Trulap. With your discount code, I was able to get them plus the stand for cheaper than the same setup with Nuobell. Much appreciated!
When a malfunction occurs or breakage, which one is easier to repair or replace the parts that typically malfunction? Ie - maybe one style only requires you to replace the center handle while maintaining all the plates. Where as the other might have plastic between the plates and you have to replace all that
If you do have something happen, the handle will probably be the part to malfunction before anything happens to the plates I haven’t had an issue with either dumbbell so I wouldn’t know which one would be easier to replace
Would you consider the trulaps to be droppable or better durability than the snode or nuobells? Thanks greay quick review, only thing I would have added... Is the rod in it metal inside or nylon?
Trulaps are not considered droppable but they do have a one time accidental drop included in the warranty coverage. They do feel like they’d be more durable than Nuobell. Snode dumbbells are cast iron. I’ve dropped tested them and they still work but I wouldn’t do it on purpose just because they say they’re drop proof just to be on the safe side The rod inside is metal
I had a set of the Adjustable Dumbbells. That looked very similar to Nuobells. They were not as heavy. I hated them. I ended up giving them to a friend. It is just hard to beat fixed dumbbells with the hex shape so they don't roll.
There’s pros and cons with fixed and adjustables. With adjustables, space utilization is the biggest pro since you don’t need a whole rack of dumbbells.
@Shredded Dad Garage Gym That is true. That is the reason I got them. I just felt like I was gonna break them. They also can scar up table tops. At the end of the day, the bulk of my workout is bodyweight or weighted bodyweight. So, I only use kind of some medium weight dumbbells like 30 pounds for curls and tricep extension and some light ones for delt raises. Sometimes I will just use 20's. I take every set to failure and have found that I respond good to high rep work.
Have ordered them, shipping took too long without getting any updates nor anything happening with my order and now I am waiting and didnt get my refund after 13+ days!!!!!!!!! Stopped reacting on email but have time to post on Social media. I have no other choice to call them out and work this through my creditcard company. shame and it seems like im not the only one reading the comments under some youtube and IG posts. ridiculous. Don’t fall for the “beauty” as the company is lacking and having customers fight to get their own money back :). really feels like a scam if you have to wait 20 days with no shipping nor shipping label and another 13+ (still busy) to get my money back. Be cautious people!
@@ShreddedDad nah man….. unfortunately not. After contacting you, I’ve received an email and they told me to contact my bank and that’s what I did now. I haven’t received a dime and now I need to deal with this whole administration and evidence I need to upload. I only got a refund email stating that my refund will appear and be visible up to 10 days. But I do appreciate contacting them. Wouldn’t have expected anything else from you 👍🏽. Thanks for trying bud!

Sweet!
What’s the update on them? How are you liking them?
Trulaps are doing great and I love them. Thicker handle than most dumbbells which I like and lots of weight increments
Better off buying them used on ebay you'd be surprised how much barely used gym equipment you can find if u looking hard enufff

Yeah was getting asked the same thing over and over so had to make the video
Glad it helped 👊
Because Nuobell is Swedish, it's the opposite for me with Trulap. It would be quite a bit more than Nuobell + stand, for the same setup.
Yeah in your case Nuobell makes more sense economically
Simple and best review I've seen straight to the point
👊
Great comparison review. Thank you so much!
👊
Are the internal components plastic or metal?
I haven’t opened them up but most likely hard plastic.
With that being said, I’ve had the Nuobell dumbbells for 3 years and they still work fine.
Do Fat Gripz work with these?
They do but the handles are already thick on Trulap. Adding Fat Gripz makes it way thick.

Thanks for the reply and for the review
You’re welcome
I'd love some Trulap. I only wish they could just pull the trigger and make everything inside and out steel. Heck even at 1000$ it would be worth it.
Maybe we’ll see that in the near future

Good stuff 👊
Droppable?
No, not with adjustables. They’re not glass but you can’t continuously drop them.
💪
Iron masters have not rattle whatsoever
👍
but they suck design wise

Got a reply from Trulap. Looks like you got a full refund on April 20th, right?
