I was going to point this out but then the years added up. She said Margo graduated in '74 so if that really is the right year then she was 18 cause she was born in '56. Clearly I overthink things. Lol
@@ReinbowUnicorn420 It's also possible that skipping a grade meant she just didn't go that year. There are many things that could come up that could cause a child to not end up in school for a year. Sad tragic turn that includes the family. Kenya Prade, one of Margo's daughters, passed away in 2019 due to an ongoing illness. Really is tragic, as she was following in her Mom's footsteps, graduated the same college and was onto a Nursing career in Dallas.
The fact that all of Doug's peers were so adamant in ruling him out of suspicion makes me think that they must have helped him in getting that gun shot test cleared and possibly contaminated the coat after all those years in hopes of getting him exonerated at last!

- My family thinks I'm a psycho
Hell naw! He's guilty as frick! That was his bite mark, the times line up, he was SEEN at the scene of the crime. That DNA on her lab coat could have been a co worker's or even a patient's! Heck, she could have hugged someone goodbye at her first work stop! Now what they should have done is they should have seen what kind of cars he had available to him and see if he had any large white cars.
Exactly but also hacking is illegal if you don’t have permission at least I think I’m not so sure
But if he bit her through her coat there should be presence of his DNA also along with anyone elses
The absence of his DNA is more of a mystery than the presence of someone else's.
Also apparently he can remove his top row of teeth
But, I mean... Bite mark evidence is now notorious for being junk science... Like, astoundingly so. As in, people can't even agree that something IS a bite mark, let alone if it came from the same person.
The innocence project has its hands full with bite mark cases where someone was wrongfully convicted on this junk science.

So, he cheated on her multiple times, refused a divorce, and then got angry when she was dating someone else once they separated? The nerve of some people.
Men* only men do this type of shit.
@@nightcorebeatzx8652 entirely entirely untrue watch the movie Yes Man. We all human anyone's capable of anything.
it’s always so weird to me how people comment in a way that feels like they don’t actually realize this is real, these are real people not “characters”
Laura H Of course it’s just my opinion, but sometimes commenters may sound callous like they don’t realize these are real people but we tend to use these types of videos to blow off steam from our own stresses and issues and so we watch with the attitude that it’s a good mystery story and get excited or even a bit inappropriate with our treatment of the people involved. Like you said, like “characters.” I realize this is a sad and horrible crime but it allows me to step out of my life and actually just enjoy some good content. Reality it totally stranger than fiction. Hope this makes sense and may help as to why the attitudes may seem a little less than sensitive in the comments.
It being told as a story does make the people characters though. They are real of course but this is a story being told
Megan Haggerty these are real life victims and perpetrators. not “characters”. this isn’t a made up tale, it’s a true story.
A ViRGO obviously I know that. But when it’s being told in story format, they become characters. That’s not terribly hard to understand idk why you’re having me repeat myself
Real people are characters, too. Everyone is part of the story. Fiction is based on reality, not the other way around. I don't see the issue.
"He was 10 years older than her and she was a senior in high school."
Me: he did it
Exactly...a 28yr police officer had no business being with a high school student!
I appreciate the way Eleanor talks about the victims in her videos and reminds us that they were actual people not just a plot point. You do a great job of it in every video I've seen, thank you El x
Eleanor: “Her ex husband was a police officer.”
Me: *bangs gavel* He did it! Done! You’re welcome! We can all go home now!
Lol That’s exactly what I thought. The minute she said he was an officer, I said, “ well, we all know who did it!” 😂
🤣🤣🤣
*i love that you’re including more cases about black people & people of color, it’s awesome that you’re spreading awareness! thank you so much for the support.* 💖
I do love this but why has it become a popularity contest on what's on topic it shouldn't even have to be a second thought P.s I am 100% not coming for you 💗💗💗
hezavich 86 yeah i was just showing eleanor my appreciation & it’s fine, i totally understand what you mean, but sadly even though race shouldn’t have to be a second thought, it is, it always has been since the beginning of time & it will be for a long time. i wish it wasn’t like that but unfortunately it is...
@iknodewaemybruddas👁👄👁 ok well you have completely misinterpreted my comment I am also thanking her as well my point was that there has been awful discrimination and vile crimes against black people and other ethnic groups other than white and my point was it should never of happened ever and the reason there is so much coverage on the situation is because of the protests and it's being made very much publicly aware anyway I will get to the point these cases should have always been treated with equal amounts of attention. In an ideal world we wouldn't have to hear about crime and all the other unjust things in life so it's so important to always speak up and not stand for these heinous acts and to spread love and kindness
@@exoticalvibes hi my lovely that was my point. sending lots of love and kindness 💗
hezavich 86 no worries love, i don’t think that iknodewaemybruddas👁👄👁 quite understood what you meant but i did. it was a small misinterpretation & i know that you were addressing *me* so that’s all that really matters. much love, i hope you’re staying safe & healthy out there, good luck! 😊
Eleanor : He started screaming at the sight of her body and even fainted at some point
Me : hmmmmm that's suspish. He did it.
The only way that I’ve made it this far through quarantine is seeing Eleanor’s upload notification every week 😭😭
You ever feel like these people get taken from the world so early because they’d create “too much” good in the world? 🥺😢
Yes.
It’s true.
I remember when Eleanor was at 7K when i subbed and have watched every single video since. Youve come so far and i feel like a proud mother
Why do I keep watching these at night??? I feel like someone’s in my house now after carefully planning my death.
I thought you were gonna say "when parametics arrived they couldn't find Margos body"😧 like it had been moved when the lady went to call police and ambulance.
I thought that too lol
I was like, is this the twist already???
me too i was like 😶
Omg me too !

Me too! 😂
I scrolled through the comments to see what people were discussing ABOUT THE CASE but only saw people talking about being early or how they know her intro by heart...ok nvm
Me too I wanted to see other people's opinions
Just saw this comment as I was looking for comments about the evidence. So far I haven't seen a comment about the case, but I'll keep looking, lol.

I'm going to regret watching this at 3am when I feel like I'm about to be murdered

I declare and decree that you will.be safe always ❤ and live a long happy life! Good vibes to you.

If she visited patients at the hospital that morning before heading to her private practice, it's very likely the male DNA found on her coat could be from one of those patients she saw that morning
That is actually a really good theory, nice job!
As soon as you said that her ex was 10 years older than the high schooler he was dating and was a cop, we all knew where this was going...
it's really sad that one of her daughters passed away in 2019 :( may she Rest In Peace
Oh is it ? What's the reason?
sara mary it was kenya :( i don’t know why she passed tho
Long illness
sara mary 1:11:58
That sad. Shes with her Mum now.
Eleanor: she started dating an older police officer
Me: so he was abusive
I have listened to a lot of true crime cases in my life, but this one struck me so hard. Kenya was my god sister and role model growing up. She was so supportive, driven, humble and loving just as her mother is described. It hurt me to my core knowing that she had to navigate life without her mother and now that her children are experiencing the same, it is devastating. Thank you for covering this Eleanor.
Does Sahara still think Doug didn’t do it? X
No worries, hon. I’ve graduated university and don’t really get it either. Plus US vs UK education systems have confusing differences, as do specific specialties.
That is SO true☺️

RIP Kenya. Thoughts are with Sahara now, can’t imagine how the poor girl is coping!
You're right. This guy screwed up his whole family.
I hope Sahara is coping even though her mother is dead and her father is locked away. Hopefully she has a spouse who treats her well, kids she adores and relatives who care about her
In the USA normally he wouldn't be allowed at the crime scene because he would be a person of interest in her murder until his alibi is proven plus murderer's sometimes try to insert themselves into the crime specially if their egos are as big as her ex husbands was
It’s sad that his daughters believe that he is innocent.
Yeah, but until pretty recently, we let cops do literally anything they felt like with zero repercussions. That policy was enshrined into law by our Supreme Court. So... you know.
The doctor who gave my mom the C-Section when I was born actually murdered her son 2 years later, I have the news article and everything. It’s insane.
That's scary, glad you're ok :)
Olivia Street thank you, my mom and grandpa really pissed her off, too. Crazy how close she was to snapping!

who did the doctor kill??
vj her own son
dude i’ve been waiting for around 2 ish years for eleanor to get a million subs and she hit it and i cried no joke i’m so proud of her :’)
they coulda checked the car door handle for fingerprints too
He took the car quite regularly of cause his finger prints would be all over it, not proof that they were put there on the day of the murder.
@@HopeeInk But fingerprints of OTHER people would have indicated someone other that Doug was involved. No ones fingerprints should be there but Doug, hers, the kids.... anyone else and we should talk to them... right?
Pretty sure he had on gloves that day.
Sounds like the cartoony Keystone Cops to me but the courts were no better.
Too bad they didn't have today's technology available to them at that time. This man should never, ever get out of prison.
I think in a way it was a good thing that he had that little taste of freedom. He'll suffer so more (likely in some form of solitary away from the general population of the prison because he was a high ranking police officer) for the freedom he's lost all because of his actions in committing the horrific murder of his ex wife. He's a monster, monsters belong in dark, dingy cells. 😡
that wouldn’t work, his dna and finger prints already were there plus probably at sometime she gave someone a lift so they left finger prints or random people could’ve left theirs
“The ex husband…”
Me: IT WAS HIM
“He got to the scene and he broke down”

“He was overwhelmed with emotion”
