@@bpowerpheonix you are willfully being ignorant to my entire point. it is fact that she did not flirt nor intend to cheat with this man. i dont understand why you are so committed to this false narrative. Even if we disregard her character, there is multiple pieces of evidence that says this cheating / hook up narrative is not true. She was threatened in some way to come out of her home that night, she did not willfully give him her address, she did not contact him to meet up, there is absolutely no evidence that she had any intention on doing so. Im not arguing with you anymore, please find it in you to stop spreading these lies.
Here's the thing with that though - it seems he was a first time killer. He had researched and planned it all out, making sure everything would work the right way. He then hunted at the bar, most criminals look for the gullible people, weak people, etc. He found Rebecca and as most killers, he came across as charming and handsome. He then knew he found his victim. He killed her, and he knew exactly what to remove (with the exception of the teeth) . But yet he never cleaned out his car. I think he maybe felt some guilt, or maybe was even plotting it again. If he was plotting to kill again he would do it soon, try to get the most kills in before cops caught onto him. If he killed another person soon, he wouldn't have to remove the blood from the car until after. This could've turned into a spree. However, if it was guilt he felt he may have been so upset that he didn't want to go near the car. OR he was really wanting them to play his game, he would text the parents from her phone which shows his confidence, he was on the ferry with confidence , etc. He wanted to kill and have them really work for it, he knew he would be investigated so he left the blood in his car so they would find him guilty. That's just what I think tho. Most killers do other crimes before killing , theft, r!pe, etc. they will then have something that sets them off and they begin killing.
It’s so sick of him to message the mother and give her hope that her daughter was still alive and make her believe she was somewhere out there in the world but what’s even worst is blaming it on someone as innocent as her boyfriend who was already being suspected
The poor boyfriend. Imagine finding out your girlfriend was murdered, then everyone thinking you killed her only to find out she died because she decided to cheat on you. Damn 🥺
@@iman1842 she was flirting with him in the club? Got his number and then went to his house that night? That would be called a one night stand. No one is saying it’s her fault. We all know it’s the killers. But it’s sad that that is how the events played out. Just because we feel bad for the boyfriend who literally got cheated on, blamed for her death, and also had to deal with her passing. It’s extremely sad. It’s terrible to get cheated on in any case and it’s worse that that’s what lead to her death.
I hope this will influence more people to back up their words with actions but also we as a society need to stop having low standards about white people when it comes to the respect of black people.

If you’re truly interested, I highly recommend this new documentary on HBO called “Crazy, Not Insane”. It’s about Psychiatrist Dorothy Otnow Lewis and how she stirred controversy for her unique views on serial killers and the death penalty. It’s really dark and explores what makes people kill. Dorothy was the last person to interview Ted Bundy before he was executed. This review from Variety sums it up: “You may not agree with everything Dorothy Lewis says in “Crazy, Not Insane,” but you come out of the movie alive to the place where evil and insanity meet and then fall back apart.”
I’m not blaming Rebecca for her fate. But y’all, let’s be safe. There’s no reason in the world to meet up with a stranger from a night club. No matter how cool they seem, what vibes they are giving - Anything can happen. Nothing is worth your safety
There's something to be said for meeting people publicly first. She talked to him at the bar; obviously got a good vibe & wrongly believed he meant her no harm
@@hideyable to me, and for anyone - meeting someone at a bar once and getting a good vibe should not constitute as them being a safe person to be alone with. People are crazy and it’s really easy to be impressionable with one conversation.
What always saddens me in these videos is when you describe these poor victims and how they often were incredibly loved by their peers, and how they brought so much joy to those around them. It only makes their untimely deaths even more heartbreaking. RIP Rebecca.

Its not okay, it is not the truth, and its okay to accept that you cant take everything at face value and you got something wrong. it would be great to see you delete these comments, keeping in mind these are real people, her family and friends are still having to defend her and grieve her and this is just not okay. it leads to victim blaming and provides an excuse for misogyny.
@Anonymous I have been a victim of SA, domestic violence and mysogynoir myself. I know it may hurt to hear the truth or have somebody say anything negative. She did not deserve to die. She made mistakes. Those can be true at the same time.
@@molly3713 exactly
I literally forgot that fact
Dan didn’t know he thought when she tripped she was dead anyways
i don’t get how he managed to remove every part of her that’s identifiable but forgot the TEETH??
Maybe he thought the teeth would burn up.
finished now, I hope Rebecca’s family are healing well after all that man put them through, guys please be careful who you meet

True crime really intrigues me, how killers think, act, react and behave. It’s interesting.
I agree whole heartedly! I think its because its so far away from how we think and what we'd do. It's getting into the mind of something we can't imagine doing / being ourselves. If that makes sense? And Eleanor tells the stories so well!
@@jade-mariejones9453 100% she explains the situation astonishingly well and yes I agree, it just bewilders us because it’s so far from something we’d do (like you said).

Exactly! Ropes I would understand, but chains are fcking hard to get out of
and to be chained up but NOT have your phone taken away. *sigh*
Her feet could have been chained.
Maybe it wasn’t her that texted but someone else instead?.....
There is a hole in the fact we have no idea what the 17-minute long phone call was about.
@@hideyable to me, and for anyone - meeting someone at a bar once and getting a good vibe should not constitute as them being a safe person to be alone with. People are crazy and it’s really easy to be impressionable with one conversation.
