YESSS loved rogue craft, been waiting for the newest update as I've maxed out everything in RC so far and can't wait for the new bosses and just saw this as something new to try! seems like i'll love it! trying after college today!
Trust me when i say that i want that so bad, but due to left click detection not being possible currently, i cannot do this for now. (Though I am thinking of a solution for it at the moment) Though i will say that i do think the sword still has its place, the parry is much more useful than you might think initially
@@budged hey, you can do this by spawning an interaction entity right in front of the player and constantly teleporting it in front of them when they are holding the sword and checking for left clicks using that entity. This does have a few problems tho, as it would, for instance, block the player from interacting with the enviroment, like pushing buttons or breaking blocks, but I believe it's the best way to do it. It would also make it harder to implement multiplayer, as this could mess with other players
@@budged why not? If you already use them for the guns, you could just use the same one for the sword by adding an if statement to check what item the player is holding and execute a different function depending if they are holding the gun or the sword
my favorite 🅱ungeon crawler
You're so underrated. I'm definitely gonna play this rn
Damn awesome to see smaller ytbers make quality content. Keep it up. Datapack looks like something fresh for minecraft and I think it looks awesome!

Yo gonna want to make the sword attack in an area (not having to point directly) if you want it to compete with the guns
