My version of this laptop has an Intel Optane RAM accelerator installed on the NVME slot. The original Optane chip has only 16GB capacity as a cache for the mechanical hard disk. I suspect it can actually directly replaced by a new PCIe 4.0 SSD.
I thought that the HP Pavilion Gaming 15 laptop you got had problems like the touchpad being broken, the screen broke, and you just decided to replace it with an MSI GF63?
Oh, ok. I just find it weird how you said in your MSI GF63 unboxing about your HP you didn’t wanna keep spending money on something that was just gonna keep breaking and needed to be fixed, but whatever it is good to have a spare.
@@-trgames-6003 Yes. Since this laptop has an NVIDIA GPU, you can update the driver by opening GeForce Experience, going to the Drivers tab, and clicking Check for Updates. If there is driver update available, you can download and install right in the app.
this hp pavilion is probably cheated man, u got no graphics card? + urs didnt come with an SSD and u paid 400 dollars for it, I paid 500+ USD for mine and it runs like a beast, it has a 9th Gen Intel processor with a 1650 ti graphics card and 16GB ram but I upgraded it to 32 and a 500GB SSD which is the only downside of this laptop i wished i had more disk space
Thanks for the video, I have the same laptop and this gave me the confidence to replace my ram and possibly add a sata SSD thank you
Add another 8gb slot above current ram
Keep on doing such stuff!!
I clearly see the M.2 NVME slot, are you sure it doesn't have? Great video anyway, I have similar laptop and mine does have m.2 NVME slot

It did, but since everything is working as of now since I had HP repair it a few times. I decided to upgrade it and keep it as a spare.
