Heres a tractor I got real cheap from the f/b m/p It didn't run when I got it but was told it ran. Let's see how much we can find and fix in this first video.

Ive had to make a bunch of parts for that thing so far. There is nothing available for these things in the us. A bunch in the uk but shipping is costly and dont make it here half of the time. Take care up there brother.
1960 was the start of the B275, and first part of that year they came with that in line injection pump. Its 2 years now so you likely know by now that the stop lever is snapped out for full fuel for cold starting, it snaps in on its own.
10 out of 10 for making the leather diaphragm, you have to do these kind of repairs when you cant get parts. Adjust the two screws on the throttle housing beside the air filter to get idle speed and full throttle speed, if engine speed is hunting at idle I believe you adjust the fitting on the diaphragm housing either in or out, I dont know for sure as I never had to adjust one.
I have one of these tractors, ran fine before replacing starter.Did sit for a bit maybe a month. Started fine so hooked on bush hog when under load blew a ton of black smoke over ran took a bit to shut off. any ideas what might be going on? any advice would be helpful...and so was this video. Im just learning lol
It kind of sounds like what this one did with the governor diaphragm going bad. It wants to rev right up and hard to shut down. Its easy to check by taking them 4 nuts off and 2 lines and remove the plate to see if its bad. When it went under a load the gov might have tried to idel it up and it popped the thin leather that its made of.
Not even a challenge for an old timer farmer. Dad died so he didn’t get that ride he wanted in the old blue Ford. Oh well, he’s probably rode in a chariot of fire by now that goes the speed of sound.
Darn Don thats sad to hear but like you said he is rideing in a sweat ride now for sure. Its only sad for us folks left here and I was taught there is no time in heaven so for him we will be there in a second to enjoy it with him. Take care brother.

I just finised rebuilding the steering box and welded some holes in the fuel tank so it should be ready to go to work soon. Take care Terry
