      Thanks! Lots of content in the works. Video editing got put on hold this fall as my wife and I welcomed our first child into the world and Evan and his family added their 3rd! The next generation of herpers is being trained as we speak! Hoping to get some videos out soon.

    Nice video! Some great looking snakes there. I had a good last few days here in Kamloops having come across 4 rattlesnakes while hiking. I am enjoying the heat so far.

    Your hitchhiker is a Yellow Douglas Fir Borer (Centrodera spurca), a type of Longhorn Beetle.

    Nice road cruising vid. I haven't tried this yet. The cruising I've done so far was on rainy nights for frogs which is super fun! I noticed this practice is often done by herpers in arid environments from the US southwest to BC but I wonder if this works for Ontario's snakes too.

    I've done some out here in kelowna found a few rattlers and a ton of racers been trying to find robber boas but haven't had any luck
