One of my absolute favorite things Julia does on this show is when, during these episodes, the crew are clearly not getting it so she's like "ok I'll make a change that will totally give it away," then moves one (1) line approximately 2 millimeters to the right and changes absolutely nothing else.
I think he would of *_died_* in this episode too. He would figure it out before Katrina or Jacob, and cackle and giggle at them being completely dumbfounded and not tell them the answer until like, 10 minutes in.
I know as soon as Julia mentions "vibes" its gonna go off the rails because julia's interpretation of a character's vibes are so astronomically off the beaten path and thats why she's my favorite drawfee
I actually managed to figure that one out when the fur hood got added on. Despite how long they failed at guessing it, i think it was the most accurate jabinksky
it's a fall 2020 episode, if that helps anyone find it (I think October? not 100% on that but I know I watched it recently in my full channel rewatch & I'm at the beginning of Nov '20 so...)
It's clear that Julia just stores information in her head in a different way. When Drawfee is guessing, they're assuming she's using iconic stand-out details of a character but she doesn't retain those (except with rare exceptions like the garfield stripes)
Julia seeing a hand in the back of scyther's head and Karina yelling "JULIA YOUR MIND" once she could see it too has permanently implanted itself in my brain and become a part of my internal monologue whenever I'm reading or watching something where the author does something I would never predict.
I feel safe assuming the only reason she remembers as much about Garfield as she does is the sheer number of Garfs that have been drawn on this channel over the years
Julia is very endearing and I love her brain, but my brain must be the complete opposite because I am terribly confused all of the time 😅 My memory is very color-oriented, so I already have trouble with the grayscale guessing games. Besides that, I remember the overall shapes/features/proportions of things, but I forget a lot of details. It seems like Julia's memory "zooms in" on a lot of details, but doesn't hold on to the big picture very well. But in this challenge, Julia doesn't have to try to match the original silhouette, she can just frankenstein the character's features onto a man shape and fill in the gaps with vibes. So, in my case, the only thing I had to go off was vibes, and my mind was mostly blank. The only thing I guessed was winnie the poo, because he is the same shape as the OG and I recognized the tshirt and honeypot. All that's to say; everbody's brain is special, I definitely do not collect brains in jars, and I probably take the guessing game too seriously 😂
Can we talk about how Jerry was actually SO JERRY that I got it before she even drew Tom? Like guys the whiskers are wild and the little slick guy energy is so spot on. Julia, this one was perfect I don’t care what anyone else says💕😭🥺

its good that we have the word jablinski now. before that, the only english translation for gijinka was humanstuck, and that'll get you dirty looks in the wrong crowds
I think this format is a lot more freeing for Julia, because instead of having to actually draw the character, she can just try and remember Vibes. Which we know she's fantastic at.
This episode is so funny because 1. Julia decided every person would not deviate much from a real life human 2. The long pauses followed by Jacob’s slow and confused phrases like “he’s reading a newspaper” 3 Karina’s brand of humor, she’s funny
Snoopy wearing a beret and listening to records makes sense, because those old Peanuts tv specials had great jazz soundtracks. Some of those cartoons were made in the 70s, so the beanbags also track.
I'm sorry, Ice Age, I didn't think of you even though I was briefly obsessed with the second movie as a child. I was like 'is this king julien having a breakdown' for a long time
I gotta say, I love these new little flourishes; the transitions, the extra texts, the little noises, and even on stream the new intro song! It’s all so lovely :)
To be completely honest, the Snoopy & Woodstock were actually alright. She did manage to mostly capture their shapes and vibes to the point they were recognizable.
I don't know how Julia's brain works, but apparently mine is the same. I guessed Bugs and Scrat so fast it was stupid. And I did the same thing with Bobby Hill. Whatever bizarre frequency Julia picks up from these characters, seems I must be tuned in too. Edit: I ALSO GOT JERRY BEFORE SHE EVEN DREW TOM

I couldn't tell it was Scratch, but the moment Julia drew Sid I immediately recognize the gang, but still not Scratch lol
its good that we have the word jablinski now. before that, the only english translation for gijinka was humanstuck, and that'll get you dirty looks in the wrong crowds
No because I was convinced the creepy man in the coat was Rico from Penguins of Madagascar 😭
13:28 I love that Karina guesses that's a jablinski of Ronald McDonald, implying that Ronald isn't human lol
40:17 They misgendered my guy Tweety 😔😔 /lh
I think this format is a lot more freeing for Julia, because instead of having to actually draw the character, she can just try and remember Vibes. Which we know she's fantastic at.
I just love how fast this fandom is to hop on board with literally everything. Oh, they're jablinskis now? When was it ever anything different?
This episode is so funny because
1. Julia decided every person would not deviate much from a real life human
2. The long pauses followed by Jacob’s slow and confused phrases like “he’s reading a newspaper”
3 Karina’s brand of humor, she’s funny
i am in LOVE with all these jablinskis. these julia guessing games have been an absolute treat and guaranteed pick-me-up whenever i'm feeling down
julias designs are so esoteric even though I watched this episode when it came out, rewatching it now I STILL can't guess who they are
Snoopy wearing a beret and listening to records makes sense, because those old Peanuts tv specials had great jazz soundtracks. Some of those cartoons were made in the 70s, so the beanbags also track.
jfc i’ve watched this vid multiple times and YET the ice age one still stumps me until sid’s eyes appear
30:07 Yes Jacob since Julia made the hands and the twitching eye 😂 I was screaming "HOW ARE THEY DODGING THIS MOVIE!!!! they said every movie but not this one" LMAO 💕💕💕
have not watched drawfee in a bit and was very surprised to see the new portraits
I think connecting the wrong guesses with the images and trying to see it as them is the most fun
