I've owned my 812 GTS for just over a year and already have over 9,000 miles on it! Mine is colored Verde Masoni which is a gold micro-flake base coat and greenish clear coat. It took me maybe 5,000 miles to get used to the power in first and second gear! The sound is amazing, especially with the rear window down if the top happens to be up.
I took delivery of my 812 GTS 2 months ago. 1,500 glorious miles later, I can conclude it’s the best supercar I’ve ever driven. I drive exclusively in Race or CT OFF mode. The looks, the sound, the usability are all top notch. Unless the successor is something truly spectacular, this one is a permanent addition to my garage.
Don’t think it will ever get much better than this. Incredible naturally aspirated V12 with gorgeous styling. The sound. The design. The engagement. Love how you really give the viewer a feel for how the car feels, drives and performs. Money no barrier; would have this in a heartbeat over nearly everything else available. “What do I not like. There’s nothing I don’t like” lol Too good. Nice one, Damian!
You can't beat the sounds of a N/A Ferrari engine. When you see these on the road, they do look big, but I guess all modern supercars have grown these days. A future Ferrari classic.
The 812 GTS is my primary motivation for wealth building. Saw one in Belgravia the other day (British Racing Green, 812 vanity plate) and, man, it really resonated with me. It's just a dream!
@@CarlAvoryMusic I didn’t wanna be that rude ! But there’s plenty of great colours for both exterior and interior in my opinion that are more exciting - but hey I can’t afford the car and he can - so he wins ! ❤️

I got my 812GTS delivered in April this year for my Big 50th birthday and it’s the same colour with the gold wheels plus Novitec Exhaust. You’re right nothing to complain about this car , It’s an amazing Beast love it very much
I think there are two things to complain about, or rather that could be a bit better. One is the wind control in the cabin. Knowing what they did with the 488 and particular with the Pista Spider and F8 Spider, I'm disappointed that it is not better. The other is the suspension. I don't get why they softened it up so much over the Superfast. It's the first Ferrari where I have never needed bumpy road mode. This takes away some of the playful and happy character of the Superfast.
Just done a few hundred Ks in a 2023 one. Tracking it at the end of the month. More power but much more manageable than the TDF amazing car and yes the sound with the back window down is mmmmmmm!.

Fabulous review. Really enjoyed it. I've been lucky enough to see this very car twice at the Ferrari Owners Club Concours events . It's a stunning looking (and sounding) car. Are you now looking on the Internet for a pre owned 812 GTS ? Keep up the good work. Andy. 🚗😁
Wow! I love the 812 and was waiting for your review of the GTS. I could feel the passion. Yes, a great video full of information and the knowledge that a true Ferrari expert is giving a Lambo owner the nudge to go and buy their first Ferrari!! Well done on a fantastic video!
Those narrow roads in the UK gives me the jeepers. You need to take it to continental Europe, can’t see yourself enjoying 800HP on such roads in the UK
Thank you Damian for this video, besides the Monza and the Daytona SP1 , this is my dream Ferrari. Don't waste your time on those older Ferraris with constant issues (360,430, 458 etc.), just buy this.
I love the 812 GTS. However it’s not a manual like my F430 without any constant issues, they don’t thread through narrow Yorkshire B roads with the same involvement and cost 3X, which is a lot to go wrong in the 430 to make up that difference. Mind you I can see one sat next to it. Next purchase 👍
I've saíd it before but i've never liked a Front engined Ferrari in Red. They always look better in a darker metallic hue imho. Absolutely Epic car mind..👍👍👍
I have owned mine (Azzuro Dino) for a little over 6 months. Great car indeed. Mine has carbon buckets which I love. RWS and DRS make a big difference vs the F12. High speed stability and maneuverability are great for the size. She is a big wide girl. Weight is nicely masked by the suspension and steering tuning. Brakes are good but feel very inferior to the CCMRs on my STO. Ferrari would not sell me a Competizione, so IMHO the 812GTS is the best sub $1MM Ferrari on can buy.
Can't understand your point on the brakes. One thing I will say, the GTS brakes needs a proper bedding which they did not get from the factory. But compared to the STO? I have tracked the STO a few times, and driven them about 5000 km on the road. Hard to modulate, and so easily overheated on track. Ferrari brakes are not perfect, but I fail to see that they are worse than the STO brakes. I find the STO brakes to be a bit wooden and quite numb.
Guys what tires have you used on Porsche 930? I have hard time selecting right 245/45/16 tires. The Pirellis P-Zero have bad rep as the Yokohama A008P.
2:56 I know they say you can’t go wrong with a red Ferrari, and considering all the wonderful colours the 812 can come in, this guy has gone absolutely bang on with the colour spec on this. The red against the black looks absolutely tremendous. One can only assume why he didn’t go for the black tail pipes, but if he likes it that’s fine. It’s certainly better than the shitter I’m running around in.

Excellent review! My 812 GTS is currently being built in Verde Zeltweg. Mine will promptly receive the Novitec exhaust to cure the anemic tone required to appease the tree hugging simps. Very much looking forward to adding it to my collection. I do wonder about the black roof and A pillars in this example. I’m normally a fan of that contrast, as I have it on my SF90 AF spider, F8 and 296 GTS. Not sure I like it on a GT car. But, I’m certain my opinion matters not to the owner😉
Lucky to have had both the SF and the GTS. The one still with me is the GTS. Brilliant GT car. The SF tried too much to be a sportcar which it really isn't...
