My friend bought one around 2 years ago for around £350k I know it’s a lot of money but don’t see them coming down much more it as you say a very special car oh well off to do the lottery

100% agree with you about driving the PDK in full manual mode all the time - I also HATE the lurch down through gears on 'kick down' - horrible - I always take full control then I know exactly what I'm getting at all times.

Great to see you back Damian. Good show mate. I would love to drive one some day but i can't see it happning. My wife picked up a 718 boxter gts 4.0 a couple of weeks ago and i absolutely live the engine in that. Its a hoot to drive.

I totally agree re the colors and the looks. Menacing is the correct word. It's the only word to describe it. And the silver and black combo is awesome! Somehow I still like your GT3 Touring more. ;-)

Great to see a new video, though the 997.2 GT2 RS had over 600bhp, 612bhp I think.

I know absolutely bugger all about them, however I now feel enlightened. I don’t have a problem with the extra tan (even the sun visors), however tiz a little pricey but then again most road going rocket ships are. 🤷♂️ FUN THOUGH!

Indeed the GT2RS is a BEAST, and one worthy of your garage! 340K is not cheap, but not expensive either given the price of new performance cars. This is a limited number and will only INCREASE in value due to the reasons as you state in your summary. Do it!

Actually, the 917 had NACA ducts at front and 936 had the side intake as a NACA, the "Jules" car. 908/3 had them at rear.
In the late 1960s you could find them everywhere in racing world.

How does the steering wheel feel? It might just be the light but the leather looks like it would feel “vinyley”
Naca duct was allready in use in -79 with the 931/924 turbo so not something new there 😉

Agree the interior is a 'bit much'! That leather also looks different to the usual Porsche leather. (It has a really pronounced grain) Any info you can provide? I do think, however, that the Touring is the ultimate expression of a modern 911, while special and rare, the GT2 RS is a bit OTT for the road.

Yep it's overkill. It would be epic on the nurburgring, but for British roads I'd take a 997 GT3 over it by milea

We all saw Mr. Damian's reaction when he applied the beans a few times. What you all missed, was the apres hex a fine cigar with some outstanding liquor. The question you had was about GT 2 RS for the GT3 Touring. Come a little closer, listen to your papa GT2RS and GT3RS, and have fun. A question, I have been looking at the GT3RS 2024 on Porsche" 's website in Canada and configured with all the goodies for a total of $318.085.00 and noticed that one was asking $450,000 with 76KM and sold. When it came to dealers well first how many have you purchased with a real incepted look for about 500,000 maybe. Damian, you are right when it comes to these manufacturers which must keep up with the appearance but when times are tough you better have the raid ready to spray those puckered lips away from the ring in the back pocket.
