I have been an 812 GTS owner for 1 year. I had to put this information together on my own. This video is a superb start for any potential buyer! Prior to purchase I looked at color combinations and at "deal beaker" options which were most important to me. I viewed the 812 GTS as a "forever" car rather than as short term "flipper". If you are going to spend 812 GTS money...take the time to find one you really like. For me the 812 GTS is the best all around modern Ferrari. '.
The front wheels on your blue superfast are on backwards. Can tell at 4:18, common thing with those wheels. The LED steering wheel was available in leather and alcantara as well, for those that aren't interested in the carbon wheel but still want the LEDs. Probably a rarer option, but I love it on my 812. The passenger screen controls for nav and music don't work with apple carplay, and if you do try to use the music controls it will stop the music playing on carplay. Great video to have for future 812 owners to be able to reference!
I wondered about those wheels on the blue one! Very obvious when you see it with the red one at 4:38. Smacks of a lack of attention to detail which I find surprising with Romans and makes you wonder exactly how those wheels ended up being swapped. Not what I’d expect on a 1 owner £200k Supercar and would make me suspicious about that car.
@marklee7545 Just because the wheels have been taken off doesn't mean anything against the car. The car has gone in for at least a few annual maintenances, the wheels come off. It's a pretty easy thing to miss for a lot of techs. I wouldn't worry about it that much. That said, cars for sale should probably have their wheels on right lol
Having owned an 812 with OPF aka GPF and without, I can tell you the difference in sound is massive. In particular, it looses the scream at higher revs. Fairly easy to remove GPF with sports cats from someone like Novitec. Still passes UK MoT. Costs around £5k and well worth it!
If you’re going to drive or buy an 812 SF don’t go for one with a GPF fitted. Long term those cars will be worth a lot less. The OG 812 SF has the best engine ever put in a non-limited edition road car. Plus, go for pre-facelift mirrors on the 812 (without cameras) as these are a lot more stylish.
@@wordlife25money No. You need to do some aftermarket work on the catalytic units and the ecu. Have to get a company like Novitec or Capristo involved.
Bummer about the GPT gimping. However kudos to Ferrari for doing whatever they can to keep the V12 alive. Please make a parody video like this on a 70k Vauxhall Zafira.
As a rule of thumb…only get a manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer wants to keep you as a future customer….whereas as any other only makes money if they don’t pay out….its pretty obvious
Satin and matte are two instant turn offs for me. IMO paint should be gloss, period. I saw an 812 in a dark forest green with lots of gold metallic. It was absolutely stunning.
Great video thanks. Can you take the GPF off these cars ? Let me rephrase, can you take it off these cars easily… That would be the first thing to go in my mind, along with an aftermarket exhaust there’s a couple good systems out there. This is the only Ferrari that I’ve liked in the last eight years (the F12 as well). Given how hideous its replacement looks like a.k.a. the abomination, I suspect these cars will likely hold or continue to go up in value.
Bro am I missing something? Cheapest GTS I can find online is like $450-500k (on Autotrader and on Ferrari Pre-owned. Where tf are you seeing them for $300k?! Hook me up!
Strange, my local Porsche dealer didn’t bat an eyelid when I handed them the extended warranty from the previous owner. Had a new gearknob fitted under warranty (A known weakness), but strangely they wouldn’t cover fixing a squeak in the interior.

Agree with you after they released 12 cilindri
I don't know why im watching this
Same😂
🤷🏻
Me too, we just love cars that's why.😂
ready for the lottery win....
I'm 6'3", is there sufficient leg room for someone my height?
As a collector and owner of one of the last GTS’ produced, I can say it’s a splendid driver with a sublime sound when fitted with a Novitec system😎
The blue/tan GTS is stunning, such a great spec 💙
one day I am going to need this video🤝
Your time would bebetter spent learning how to make money rather than watching TH-cam videos on cars you can't afford.
If I win the euro millions I will buy you one just on your comment!

I’ve watched every 812 video there is and this is superlative. The heads up on OPF filters including sound check is ace. Thank you.
After watching this very informative video, i've decided to buy that used Honda Civic
Thanks! I was looking at a golf 1.6 TDI, but after watching this I’ve decided to go for a superfast
At least go for 2.0 TDI or the GTD lol
I have the 812 gts in Grigio silverstone
I want an 812 competizione next!
Reliable? Any issues since ownership?
Brilliant video Tom! Well done 👍🏻

100% !
The 812 in Blu Pozzi looks fantastic!
Thank you for the for the well timed video, as I am about to go shopping for a GTS😍
great video, looking to chop my f12 in feb and this has def helped
Love these videos. Absolutely fascinating, thanks 🙏
another great informative video Tom👌
A very informative and interesting video
Excellent, thorough content. 👍
Amazing job brother
Brilliant video Tom as an overview. You should have been on Top Gear. Mark S.
Thank you, very helpful.
Very well done!
A brilliant video.
Very good. Very informative. Not sure what to do with my GTS! No idea if I will love the 12 Cilindri Spider as much!
Tom this video is gold dust, any chance of doing a similar buyers guide for the 488 ? x
Red 812 GTS is 🔥🔥🔥
Congratulations from Brazil
One of the best modern Ferraris out there
Great video

So true. Non gpf 812 has a glorious scream especially north of 6500 rpm.
Can you just remove the gpf?

Buy one, value it at zero and drive it…Why care about the future value of a non limited edition…This is actually a TDF without a limited number.
Very useful information. I'm going to the Ferrari dealership tomorrow and asking them if they need a new toilet cleaner.
Excellent detail here, i will be looking for an 812 Superfast in 2025 hopefully.
Make a buyers guide for the 488 pista spider!
I think of Nico when watching this video 😰
Are the wheels on the coupes directional? As they both face different directions
How does PPF influence you buying in a car. Is it worth applying the film for resale.
That blue super fast is the perfect spec for me. Just one problem- 💰
In my opinion the 812 Superfast is the best looking car of the past decade, along with the “16 Jaguar F Type R🔥🔥🔥
Cam you start the STO in the background please
Can you guys do a buying guide for Bentley CGT V8 and W12?
Is the triple yellow a no no or a viable option. I’m thinking off getting one but don’t want to be stuck with one when selling due to bad color choice
Bummer about the GPT gimping. However kudos to Ferrari for doing whatever they can to keep the V12 alive. Please make a parody video like this on a 70k Vauxhall Zafira.
You should do one for r8s
One of these 812s will get shipped to Malaysia soon.
Thanks but I’ve decided to go for a 2016 Ford Focus.
What are the best selling colours?
Red I'd imagine
Haven’t you seen the video ?
He says that it sells less in red. (This car in particular)
I’m looking for a 575 superamerica and 16m scuderia, and 599 gto ! Hit me up when you get those in and reply to my comment!!!

I don't think Nico would recommend the Novitec exhaust!
812's are Discontinued right??
watching at my college internship😭
Are the red cars wheels wrong way around?
I don’t get the point in all that bolt on carbon bits , does it make the car drive any better ?
Yes and no….
Carbon is lighter so in theory the car drives faster, but it’s probably not noticeable.

How much 812gts sr?
The coupe is becoming good value

Project 7 buyers guide
No one could ever argue Ferrari doesnt give you lots of options, or charge for them.
Thank you. Such a great video. Doing one for F12 would be nice. Probably there are some similarities
Great video thanks.

Options are obviously very personal because I just couldn’t agree with anything he says!
he won't even buy an 812 with the standard alloys!?? so picky
F12 all day long. 812 has to wishy washy styling
Ferrari's are for wannabees, Lamborghinis are for somebody's. Just saying...
Just saying people buy whatever they want enjoy your fantasy world…
Ferrari = tasteful
Lambo = tasteless
I own both…and disagree.
