Is this also called a Timing Chain Inspection Plate. My Honda dealer said my timing chain inspection plate is leaking and needs to be resealed with Hondabond for $187.50? If that is it, I have located it and it is NOT leaking. They also said my oil pan is leaking and the gasket should be replaced for $391.96, but it is NOT leaking. They also said my axle seal is leaking and will cost $338.50. I don't see any leaks anywhere, along with other work that just "coincidentally" is the value of my car, a 2006 Honda Accord in great shape.
OMG!!!!! There is a commercial on my video! What did I dddddddooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!! I waited about zero minutes. I let it sit for about 10 minutes or less before I bolt it down. It doesn't quite skin over. Generally wait about an hour when service puts me on a hustle, and have not seen a problem "yet". Supposed to wait 24 hrs.

Another great repair video, I didn't know about this one. Our Element never had the leak, unless it only goes on the side of the engine. Car ran mint, sold it and it had 174K miles on it. Did TH-cam finally hook you up with the adsense? Now you can start making some money! I still need a few more subs, looking forward to that. Thanks for the video.
Yeah man, that means that you can make cash now! Google (TH-cam) attaches ads on your videos and the more people that watch your vids, the more revenue you'll end up making. You'll have to go through and set it all up, make sure that when you get enough money that Google deposits it into your bank account. Take a look at this link: goo.gl/nqvuEL But cool man, you're on the way to making some cash now. Keep cranking out good quality vids like you do, it'll start adding up. Back in the day when they didn't have the 1000 subs requirement I was making around $200-$500 a month on just "for fun" videos, probably could have made more if I would have put more effort into it, but I was in college and starting a family, so time was not on my side... Your stuff is wayyy better and more helpful, so I bet you'll be making more cash. If you need more information, I don't mind helping you out, I can email you if you want. Happy for you. Hope you make some nice cash man!
Okay, It looks like I set up an account when I started creating. Everything says zero $. I will just go with it, and see what happens. I don't believe I gave them any banking info, but I cannot bleed a turnip either, so thanks.
Yea no problem. It'll take some time, but eventually you'll see the cash start accruing, once it hits a certain amount you can "cash out" I would just leave my money alone until it was something large-ish, then have it sent to my checking account. It's nice to get a few bucks here and there for the work and time that you put in to the vids. I pretty much do it for fun, but it's also nice to know that you could be making a few dollars. Once you get your sub count high enough you can even think about maybe a Pateron page. I also think it's a good idea to branch out here and there, like you did with those cool walking sticks. Keeps your views interested in things going on outside just wrenching. Have a nice holiday man.

I think it is called that. Sounds like someone needed to buy a new pair of shoes.
Will a leak like affect fuel trim numbers as it will introduce air into the crankcase which should drive up your fuel trim numbers
There is a breather in your valve cover going to your air cleaner. It helps keep your air and crankcase clean.
Great video, thanks!
Quick question, do you need to drain the oil for this?
I did not.
How long do you have to wait until you can expose it to hot oil?

Did you not need to change the tensioner as well?? Isn't that what the cover is for?
It is just a cover for the tensioner.
You didn't drain the oil? Would tjat be necessary
Told the victim to go get one. I don't do oil changes.
did you have to replace other parts or just the timing tensioner plate because my is leaking. Its a 2012 civic lx sedan.
Just the plate

I think so. The tensioner is behind that cover.
