    So many idiots commenting here. This scooter goes 63mph with the double click (can't believe this guy didn't know), it's the king of range, 60 miles of hard riding. Only fools who can't afford it think it's "not worth it", go ride your zero 10x's kids...

    Just something about this company they know how to make powerful fast scooters, but they don’t understand the basic needs of a rider they want decent bright front lights not fancy disco lights which are not going to light up the road which means you have to spend an additional amount of money to buy decent lighting, and don’t get me started on their throttle

      Why not directly say that you can not afford modern technology,, Buy feel,, Goes fast but no quality length,, You pay extra for Dualtron but it lasts a long,, long time and You get absolutely what you pay for,, , While you have to change during the time Dualtron drives on to another scooter when it is finished type after two years, The King Dualtron 2 is left and still strong ;)

      @@robertzawadzki3046 Robert get over yourself hes right, I've had 4 dualtrons, the only one that has any kind of good lighting is the X. The only one that has a useable suspension is also the X. The standard suspension you see here is piss poor. The throttles are too touchy, the paint is too fragile it easily flakes and scratches. The hud is way too small and needs to updated. I can go on and on, you want a real scooter buy a nami.

    Was originally going to get this Scooter but at just under half its value in cost, picked up the Vsett 10+ and was extremely pleased with my choice.
    It may not have the light show and the horn should have been louder but performance wise…. EXCELLENT!!!!

    I have never owned a high powered scooter before and bought this scooter after doing a ton of research and watching videos. That part in the video you mention a smoother throttle and possibly better with thumb throttle. Will make no difference as it is the square wave controller that cause that jerking motion.(seriously need to make future dualtrons with sine wave controllers) really helps a lot to max slow start in P setting at 5. I also set to max battery save and leave econo mode on. Much smoother and manageable for me. For the price it cannot be beat. I did not buy this to speed fast. I wanted to make it up hills with ease as I weigh 245lbs and it does just that very,very well. A large battery to allow me to ride quite a distance before have to charge the battery. The brakes are amazing . Stops me extremely well. I leave electric brake and ABS off.
    So far I am very impressed with this scooter. With my settings I rode 18 miles hitting 20mph many times. And I only went down 3.2v

    Nice review. But im missing the info about over taking function. What you havent mentioned is the full 10kw power is available only with over taking which is enabled by pressing the throttle two Times like a double click. Then you get more amps from the controller and the full power

    • @Karotka_elektrokolobezky
      @Karotka_elektrokolobezky 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yeah. You have 2x15A more (45A jump to 60A). So in reall there is no 10kW, it is just around 8640W. It works 10s and after it you have to wait 2min. So…it is useless 🤣.

    It has a DEADLY safetly flaw in the stem, which snaps in half over time at the hinge due to a flaw in the design that even a basic engineering student or anyone with any common sense could see. The hinge clamp is far too short which puts an incredible amount of force on the hinge and surrounding areas due to extreme leverage from being too close to the folding point which results in accelerated metal fatigue, so it catastrophically fails/breaks while you're riding, just like it did with mine recently. Luckily I didn't die since I was only going about 10mph but if I was going +50mph I'd probably be dead. I told them the wobble was getting worse and worse since the first month I bought it but they did nothing to fix it and said it was normal! When I informed them it finally snapped in half while I was riding they again did nothing, and even said I'd have to pay to get it fixed even though this has been a well documented safety flaw for years with most Dualtron scooters!

Would be great to see you give her another go on a warmer & dryer day as well as use a longer straightaway and the double tap for the speed test. Not sure how many use the Thunder II off road but it's power seems more than enough to get up hills. Running it on a wet day seemed to have limited how much you could test it.
    Really appreciate all your pur videos and would be so happy to see more of the Thunder II on the road.

    I really don't understand the purpose of absurdly overpowered, overpriced, impractical escooters like that one. At that size, weight, and power, there are very few places on earth that would allow you to legally use it anywhere. It costs more than a motorcycle, but it's not even waterproof? Looks great, but scooters like that are dragging down the global adoption of escooters on public roads and cycleways. If they are only for racing on closed circuits, then fine, but nobody should ride monster scooters in public spaces.
