Nice guys, I just learned this game last night. Really enjoy this one. Fast paced strategy, with the cartouche system that is unique to me so far.

Great video, great game. I did notice one rule that wasn't made clear on the video. You mentioned that the game will end immediately if a player reaches 40 points. According to the rulebook, that only applies if you reach 40 by the result of the 1st or 4th cartouche. If you reach 40 or more points during the scoring phase however, the highest score wins and points past 40 do count.

Very good video! Have you ever tried to compare Aton to Sun Tzu? I like both but I am not going to buy two (in a certain way) similar games.

Thank you for your answer. I like both games but my wife doesn't so probably I will not buy these games... :-P
She doesn't like much El Grande and that's probably why Sun Tzu is not on her list.
She is a big fan of Pandemic Cthulhu, Hive, Akrotiri, Suburbia, Tikal, Vinhos, Edo, Puerto Rico, San Juan, Archaeology: The New Expedition, Masters Gallery, Caylus, Speculation, Tzolk'in, Mysterium, Onitama, Ticket to Ride, Chinatown and a few others.
