I appreciate watching your channel because you cover all of these old board games that are passed over but are actually really great. I've been ignoring the cult of the new and searching out these older titles are adding them to my collection. Will keep a look out for this one as well. Thanks
Glad to see you review this one. Seeland is one of go-to hidden gem games I recommend to people. That money system is genius. It really should be used in other games.
I bought this when my kids were born and loved it. Now they play it with me! A lot of sentimental value this one has! Thank you for covering this gem ❤️
Love this light tile placement game. Totally agree about the coin rondel...so clever. I love pulling this one out with newer players. At first, they are hesitant because of the theme, but always end up really enjoying the game and want to play another right away.
Great review, I love the look of that board. Looks like I can pick this up for $50 in the states. Burkhardt also designed Ulm, which is a decent game. I just picked up Trismegistus, do you have a review of that game?
This looks cool, with quite an old school eurogame vibe (in a very positive way). Annoying that this is quite hard to get at a decent price. I wonder if a publisher will pick it up for a reprint?
When you do review of not-currently-hyped games, your intro should include why this game caught your eye. Just my humble opinion. I truly appreciate it when you look at older games that are being ignored by the cult of new Thanks; this is a good game
The rondel reminds me a little of Vikings, and the tile placement of Riverboat, both Keisling designed games, who Wolfgang Kramer has partnered with many times. The money mechanism is clever and means each player isn’t continually picking up and putting down the same 5 coins throughout the game. Thanks for reviewing this older Kramer game as I hadn’t heard of it.

The mechanisms in this game are so cool and puts it in my top 100 games (albeit at 100 lol)! Thanks for the video and God bless! :-)
Spot on review. Job well done, Sir.
I think I have this game.time to play it.
Yeah man, I traded for this one and don’t regret it one bit. Wife loves it. The rondel in this one is a lot of fun. Scoring too.
Have you played on the side of the board with the tiles printed on it? Any thoughts about that?
I haven't actually. Always forget it's there to be honest haha
Thanks for reviewing this one. How does this rank against Citrus? Worth owning both?
I like Citrus a little more, but this one is a bit more chilled out. I love both and own both, so I'd definitely say it's worth it.
@@ChairmanoftheBoard Perfect, thanks!

Yes I have reviewed Trismegustus, it's in my old format so the quality isn't great. It's one of my favourite games ever though.

I'll try and get that in. It's usually a matter of me going through a designer's back catalogue
How timely, I just received this game in a math trade!
