Amazing game. If you haven't thrown out the punch boards, putting them under the insert completely fixes the loose components problem. They don't move and the box lid still closes nicely.
I'm so glad this game is good, I'm a sucker for ancient Greece and was really really pumped when I saw this one. Thank you Tom for adding to my spending spree
Tried it in Essen, was not convinced. The first turns slogged along and later with the dependency on the diceroll without compensation it felt like late 90s.
Maybe there’s a support group you could attend. For people attracted to the second most painfully overdone theme after WWII, or somesuch. I’m assuming there must be a lot of you, that creators devoid of creativity keep attaching it to games.
Expansion would liké to see is confronting other players by New political cards and better cards for events for example. Dont you think some cities are more powerful than others ? Maybe have to find some cities to play together for a balance game.
I agree with almost everything you said Tom. But the rules were not super clear about what knowledge tokens are, how you use them and explaining what each part of a political card means. At first we thought you spent knowledge on cards. It was confusing, and didn’t have to be. But love the game now!
Excited to see a Greek inspired game, even though the title does not sound Greek at all (the sound is like Wh from Whole and nothing like a K followed by a silent h), but after seeing the gameplay I have to let it pass. I don't like spreadsheet games. Cheers for the video!
Really like the Greece theme and the civilisation kind of feel. But I don’t like spreadsheets, and rolling dice moments having too much effects. I’m so confused.

Great tip - I’ll be sure to hold on to the punch boards.
Definitely agree on this. It makes all the difference.

Is the "iello Expert" collection like the "H&M Premium" collection?
At 10:36 Groot moves by himself.
Hehe. Tom's elbow pushes the copy of 'The Game' that is next to the statuette. Regardless, it sure does look creepy.
Yeah
Looks interesting. I wonder where I can get a copy?
I have a pre-order out for this. I too thought I’d like it just based on a reading of the rule book.

Looks great!!
Looks really cool!
Maaan, we can't resist Classical Greece.

I think this looks amazing. Don't get the lukewarm reaction from Tom regarding it's looks.
Is the Ubra Via box paying rent on your wall now?

Cool tie

Please do a review of tiny epic pirates soon...I can't wait to know your opinion about it
This looks like a lot of tracks, which is why Tapestry didn't work for me.

Feels like ‘7 Wonders’
Spreadsheet the game. It looks like a bunch of charts and tables for a game, but the rest of the game is missing
I love Ancient Greece as a theme but I'm not sold on this one. Moving up tracks is not very exciting and the game has a bland look to it.
10:30 - Are those really worth to be called "fights"..?
At least you haven't called them "combats" or "battles", I guess...
Thanks nevertheless.
This looks like excel spreadsheet the game. Pass.
