Hi- i need help understanding-what if the front of my house faces what is essentially the side yard or neighbors property, (north) and also the front door faces the back yard (NW)? The street i live on is to the SE of my home.

We are currently shopping for another home and need to know which direction is good pls. I dont know if its based on each individuals Kua # . As I am not the breadwinner but my spouse is. Should the house face based on his Kua #? His Kua # is 2 and I am 3. Thank you for your feedback.
I actually DO NOT use the kua number in my consultations because if there's an east AND west group people in the household, SOMEONE ends up losing based on that school of feng shui. Great for a beginner in feng shui, but definitely not something very implementable in the long run. The main feng shui school that I use is Flying Star, and whether or not a house is good is based on the landform, the permanent energy and how the layout of the house allows you to tap into the prosperity of it. The main entrance being on the side and facing your neighbours house, ON ITS OWN, is not necessarily a bad thing. Dialing down to the permanent energy of your home ( calculated based on the period and facing of your home ) it will further determine if that's a weak or strong front door....

Great break down. I’m considering moving into new apt where the building is facing south but the front door faces west. My Kua number is 7 so West is my best direction , right? however not sure would this be considered west since building is facing south. There is no entrance to building and all condo front doors face west . So would this still be considered good for Kua number 7 ?
to determine facing, you stand at the facing side of the house ( inside or outside ) and look outwards. So for instance if you're inside the house, you're standing looking outside
you don't always put the lucky cat at the front door. it goes to where your 3 or 4 money spots are in your house ( which is based on the period and facing of your home )
