I love these tips! What would you suggest for people that live in apartments? Condo?
Good ideas for future videos :) Since you cannot control the approach, I would pay more attention to your entryway and make it warm, welcoming, well organized and well lit. Especially if it is a small area, it needs some good thinking of the functionality and flow, so it doesn't become cluttered.
Have you ever had time to make a video about the tailsman?

Can you do a video describing remedies for what the front door faces? For example, mine faces NE as you stand looking out the door, but faces upslope (near mountain peak, beautiful redwoods right outside door, forest beyond, curving stairs-path down towards front door to a wide door porch area… but what to do about the slope energy flow towards the door?)
Others may wonder about busy roads or messy neighborhoods and so on.

I am so glad you enjoyed this content and I love your idea for a future video! Your question doesn't have an easy answer. Several Feng Shui techniques would be used to analyze this kind of saturation to get the right answer and visuals would be necessary.
As you know, typically, the best Feng Shui house location has a mountain behind and an open space in front. However, if you are on a slope and have a lower area with fantastic open views at the back of your house, then energetically the back of your house becomes the front. Sorry, it's complicated..., but if this is your case, you don't need any cures. If the back is enclosed and the front is more open despite of the mountain view, you may benefit from introducing Water Element in front and Earth Element at the back.
@@nataliakaylin Oh fantastic! Yes we have wide sea views out the back, many windows along that side of the house. In fact it is such a stunning view that I am also curious how to make sure the energy remains in the house as it should. People's jaws drop when they enter the lot, and again in the house.
We have forest on the two sides and back, and sea and bay views out the back, looking over a seaside town.
The back faces SW, with easy view to the South and West both.
Nonetheless I think many would be curious about their entrance and surrounds, and I can really find no one else who has addressed this topic. And even when it is a desirable situation, how to amplify that good, beyond your suggestions of plant life and door color and cleanliness and so on, more to prescriptive betterment.

@@KatSchlitz Your home's location is unique and very fortunate. Because the forces nurturing the house are so strong, applying Feng Shui principles would most likely differ from how we apply them in a not so strong energy location. The way you feel in the house and how this strong energy interplays with yours should be taken in consideration as well. And you are absolutely right, with any house we work on finding and amplifying the good and minimizing the bad if it is exists. I appreciate the discussion.
What color wreath is good for a door facing East
Generally blue or green. This year (2024) white is good. Most importantly use the color that you love and that goes well with your door :)

I am not sure I understand your question. Almost every house has a front door and a back door. Recommendations in this video are for the front door which is typically located at the architectural front of the house. You don't need these recommendations for the back door, but if you use the back door more often you may benefit from watching my recent video "Entryway Design Ideas + Feng Shui Entryway tips". I address there cases when you enter your house through other doors.

I appreciate you reaching out, ❤ but I am not sure I can tell you more than I did in the video. Yellow is your best option. Use it only if you like the color. I would not use red or green as they are in clash with elements of the West.
