I could definitely use some extra luck in my life. Having watched this with fascination, I now need to rearrange every wall mirror in my home! (just as well I'm handy with a drill & screwdriver).
@@tarynmaria_ Thanks so much Taryn...yes, definitely worth a shot! (I remove, & re-site, the entrance-door-facing mirror this weekend...to get that good energy moving in the right direction!).
Interesting video. I do not subscribe to a 'luck' concept but do think 'energy' may be a thing. When the house is cluttered, even after a shopping trip, things feel 'off' - I actually feel 'relief' when everything is back in order. Years ago I stumbled upon placing the head of my bed on the east wall (feet to the west) and found I sleep better. Owls, in some cultures, represent death or spirits of the dead. And red door? Nope - no red in my house except at Christmas ... guess I worked at Pizza Hut too many years when I was young (LOL)
That was fun, thank you. I used to have my bed in the so called coffin position facing the door. I sleep much better now with the bedside facing the door.
How interesting, I have always wet cleaned because I have an allergy to dust. This is the second video of yours that made me laugh today, Feng Shui should come with a warning. I tried it years ago, you know get the stagnant chi moving. Well I moved furniture, changed everything, followed all the rules in the book I had. So the dog died, two of my neighbors moved out, my ex left me, the bird died and my son was visiting his dad. 😂so I stood there holding my book 👀 going nope nope nope all alone in the building. I had wanted more space 😮 I then lent it to a friend, she settled her court case bought a house met a guy got married had two more children and her health suddenly got much better. 😂so maybe 🤔 I did it backwards?
All has to do with flow of energy, so yes I apply Feng Shui in my home. Ultimately you can feel the positive effects of clean, clutter free and furniture placement. Surround yourself with things you love, that make you happy and relaxed.
Hmmm that was a strange video. I totally agree with energy flow but luck, money from placement or colour of objects ? my rational mind objects.... (my next-door neighbours would agree with you though, they have a red front door and yes, they are Chinese). Your tapestry is so beautiful and meaningful, it is no wonder that it promotes peaceful slumber. Thanks for sharing !
Interesting concepts, wonder if any real studies have been done on them. I don't subscribe to these beliefs, but I do think that energy is important. I don't believe in 'luck' and other things that will promote wealth and health per se. I believe in our Creator who will provide all our needs, giving us wisdom and direction. To use the principles listed here could create our making them gods, misplacing our focus. (Sleeping issues-I've heard that one should not have the head facing N and the feet facing S.)
It’s funny you say that Feng Shui discourages animal and water scenes in bedrooms because my whole bedroom is Caribbean/ocean themed. A huge print of sea birds over my dresser is my favorite and most calming piece of art, followed by a scene on another wall featuring open windows overlooking the ocean. I guess some Feng Shui aligns with personal interests.
I’ve heard that you can have water scenes in your bedroom but it should be calming scenes like a lake, not a huge rush of water like a large wave or a stormy ocean scene. In regards to animals, supposedly you can have a calm domesticated animal like a sheep or horse, but no wild or ferocious animals like a tiger or bull. I say if it’s a scene you love to look at, it’s ok.
What if you're in a tiny home and your dining room table is on the kitchen area and the dining table faces the stove somewhat? Where do you pit the mirror?
You know what I found? If the only option is having your feet face the bedroom door then you can hang a crystal on your bed and it will diffuse any energy coming from the door!
I'm in a housing commission apartment in Sydney and disappointed the only way I can have my bed is on the same wall as my door or there is absolutely no room to move or hang up the washing (no balcony, don't trust it outside) and i have a built in wardrobe thats the entire wall behind the clothes hanger.. but i find the only problem I had gets resolved with higher temperatures while sleeping ..

I've learned a lot of Feng Shui principles from Julie Khuu and I was surprised that I already had my home set up in a good way.
Awesome! 🤩
Good intuition and instinct. Our bodies know what feels good for us.
That tapestry is absolutely gorgeous 😍
Thank you so much!!

Oh my gosh, you have me questioning feng shui after hearing that! Thank you for sharing!! 😊
Feng rhymes with mung
Thank you!
Thank you, that was making me twitch 😆

I subscribe to the Native American practice of facing toward the East when the sun comes up, so our bed is always situated East - West.

I see what you mean. Maybe try the wall that's not parallel to the stove? That could work!
The Only way possible to position my bed is the worst way. I dont hve enough space. What can I do instead so my feet wont point towards the door?

Does a all year wreath help
With luck ? What kind and is it too much ?
I looked into it and yes - a wreath is also great for Feng Shui and bringing in good energy! I think any kind will do :)
My door and window shutters are a reddish burgundy color.
Awesome!
😊
Thank you!

I hear ya! My daughter's room is the same - only one option for the bed!
