    This was very good and funny, at times - ( with your comments during the podcast🤣), to watch. And even though I’m watching this NOW in 2019.. I am happy I found you👍🏻

    I love your videos. You and your mom are so cute together. You're very fortunate to have her and to be able to spend the time with her. Happy New Years to y'all. I hope 2018 is a great year for y'all and the old tattered flag.

    Hi Julie. Newbie here. I love how you do not stitch in rows. I would like to know how you achieve that.

    Hoping you can answer two question. 1.Does the Morgan hoop hold up as well as the frames with the rug tacking system? 2. Using the ultra punch, if you were jumping between using 1-3 thread can you get away with the same needle? I'm wondering if it would be best to buy two when doing finer detailed work. Thanks so much for your time.

    How would you suggest "setting" the design, when finished? Iron on a stable backing? When completed, I don't want the threads to pull out of the design!

      I don't "set" any of my threads. These are decorative pieces, the threads will not pop out. I bring my pieces to shows and they are all as nice as they day they were finished.

    Wrap the inner ring of an embroidery frame with cotton tape before fitting the fabric to prevent slipping.

    All videos should say how many strands of thread to use

    • @juliethomas3454
      @juliethomas3454 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did mention that I use 6 strands. Each punch needle is unique and thread information is listed in each needles instructions, so the responsibility is on the user to read the instructions. Thread amounts are also mentioned in pattern designs and if the user is drawing their own pattern they would determine what threads to use based on the size of the design. This was a broad overview of punch needle.

    How do you keep the thread from popping out? I've tried this over and over again and the thread unravels every time! What am I doing wrong?

    Putting hot glue on the pressure sides of the wooden hoops wood might make them grab well.
