You always apply so much though. I would start with 1 pump or pea size. That's how the foundation goes cakey.
Both shades did you wrong. 1st one made you look like an Oompa Loompa (sp?, lol) and the 2nd one made you look like a ghost. I've gotta agree with several other viewers. I think you're using far too much product. I feel this happens with most of the foundations you try. Start off using a little then build up. This may be a crappy foundation. Then again it could be a good one but due to the amount applied we're never going to know. I love watching your foundation reviews because you get close up (far too many don't) but that's only going to be helpful if you're not over applying the foundation... 🤷♀️
I noticed in my thirties that some foundation made me look like a lizard if I put too much on. I had oily skin in my 20s. Moisturizing, being conservative with products, and blending well works much better for me now.

I still want to try this foundation. I think you put too much on instead of working the product into your skin. Please do another review with your shade for a fair review and maybe test one side with your fingers and the other with a sponge as recommended by the product.
Geek Out of Water reviewed this & found better results with fingertip application & not so much product.
I really think you'd find better results without so much product on your face.
It looks like a little goes a LONG way with this. That's probably why there was so much transfer too.
Thank you for actually exchanging it and trying a better shade. It’s so hard to tell how something works if it’s the wrong color. Also, you should try cool undertones instead of neutral. Neutral almost always still looks yellow to me.
Yep. Even choosing cool tone shades doesn’t guarantee they won’t be yellow/orange .. unfortunately. 👎🏻
You always put way too much product before even testing it's viscosity. Maybe start with one pump or whatever and see how far it spreads. Sometimes, even the best of the foundations don't work when you apply so much product. Most are formulated for natural look and it's just not achievable with half a bottle on the face.
I hope my comment doesn't sound too harsh. It's not my intention :) And I'm not trying to defend this foundation, I don't like the brand and I haven't tried it and not planning to either.
It looks like a bad foundation or not intended for oily skin, but it also looks like you put 2-3 times more product than you should have, it was struggling to blend.
Good luck trying to make her change on that point, so many people have tried to 😭 at this point she is like that meredith girl
Dont bother telling her. She does it every time and hates just about every foundation because of this reason. I gave up a few years ago when I tried telling Cassie…. All I got was a mouthful of abuse from her psycho casseroles.

I think that foundation would be better applied and blended with your fingers so it sinks in better! Also Pat with a sponge after. Agree with you the shades are not good.
Please look at the foundation before you film so that if the shade is so wrong for you, you can return it for the right shade! This happens in so many of your reviews and you then can't give an accurate review on how it covers blemishes etc.

Sometimes I feel you apply too much on the initial application. Your second wear test with the new color "snow*, was really too much IMO; no wonder it looked so thick and was sitting on you skin.
I agree. Less is more. And foundations are just not gonna look great on the skin when you cake on so much of it.

we all have different opinions on what's too much and what's enough... I just use the amount that I would normally wear, it never feels thick, it's truly a thin-ish layer just to coat my entire face 😅

Maybe watch videos of actual MUAs to see how they do.
A small amount goes a surprisingly long way. If you tried and it really did not work then you wouldn't get such comments.
It would also help test how much you can layer.
I find that Too Faced foundations run on the orange side and oxidize easily. I’m also a neutral fair skinned gal and even their Porcelain is too dark on me. I’ve tried snow but it washes me out. I’ve given up on Too Faced Foundations at this point.

This is my favorite skin tint of all time. I put about half that you used with the catrice soft glam filter fluid as my primer. I use my fingers like they said, so important to do that.
i find glowy skin tints just never work for us oily girls :((
They actually do though.... for a lot of us. In fact with certain ones I'm less oily than I would be if I used something matte. Plus this foundation certainly wasn't glowy. It looks matte af.
Not a very helpful video once again. You cannot complain about the shade when you're not taking the time to try them out in store... also, of course it's going to transfer and not look smooth if you apply three times the necessary amount. Maybe some chemical exfoliant would help with skin texture under the make up.
No this skin tint is just bad. Clings to everything & not flattering
This actually dried out my skin and was very difficult to wash off. It looked good unless you looked up close

I've watched for years now and have seen how sometimes your skin can have some troubles along the way (don't we all have some skin issues though) but in this video your skin looks lovely
So, whatever skincare routine you've had building up to this seems to be working or at least helping things along

I personally like darker shades on you…I know that’s not what we’re supposed to do but I feel like lighter = more washed out and I think I tad darker works ok with proper highlighting and contouring (think Casey Holmes.) I love serum foundations so I think I will go ask for a sample of this!
Hey Cassie!! I’m only 1/3 way through the video, but I’m curious if you’d ever try this with a foundation lightener? Most foundations look orange on me even if it’s the lightest shade, and I’d be curious to see you test out a lightener!

I've used lightener in the past!! I've just always tried not to use them in a review because a lot of people don't believe me when I say the one I have doesn't change the performance of a product 😅
Australis is a fabulous lightener. Just need a tiny drop and it doesn't change the formula 😊

The golden nature of these so-called neutral foundations drives me nuts! I even got a Clinique one that says, specifically, neutral leaning cool. Nope, 🍊! Lol. I literally have better luck with the wet n wild dewy photo focus one.
Thanks for doing a review in this!! I’m a little bummed to hear it’s not so great. I always get excited when a new skin tint comes to market because they’re my favorite products! I still have yet to find a skin tint better than the L’Oreal Trumatch nude hyaluronic tinted serum. It’s honestly sooo good 💕
Too faced foundation is wild, I’ve had the same “colour” in their regular born this way, born this way matte and their old peach perfect (oh I miss that one). And all three are different tones. I don’t think their names mean squat, still best to swatch/sample the product because they’re so inconsistent. I’d return this shade if I were you, a second lightest shade shouldn’t be this orange on you.
Peach Perfect was my holy grail. The best foundation I had ever used, and I’m old. I’m still not over them discontinuing it. 😢

Idk if you don't realize this, but this video glitches. Warning for anyone with sensitive eyes in the first couple of minutes, can't speak beyond that because I can't watch further.
I watched all the way through. It glitches a few times in the beginning but the rest of the video was fine. At least that was my experience. Hopefully it'll be the same for everyone else...
I haven’t really been swearing foundation lately it’s such a hassle…. To find ones that work great there’s way too ouch out there. Whether skin care or makeup they just won’t stop. They don’t stop!! It’s ridiculous. They gata stop at some point or these stores are gana run out of room lol. My main focus now is using skin care that’s cruelty free now I been looking closer at that stuff. Foundation if I use it I use maybelline I been since I was in highschool so for like 12+ years, I went back and forth with soooo many omg so many foundations trying everything out. I just love maybelline makeup it’s always looked great no matter what. It can be so overwhelming with all these options one time I just cried in the store, not hard, but I definitely had some emotions and tears just feeling overwhelmed with skin care and stuff, feeling hopeless.. once you find something that works I say stick with it to anyone. I love the product reviews nothing wrong with that:) but I’m just saying to anyone suffering and feeling overwhelmed, it’s nothing to stress over, if you take care of your skin :) any foundation even the cheapest will look great. Personal experience. (To those who stress) great video Cassie always love watching :)) and btw I think this makeup looks amazing on you, add a little powder to make it last longer but it looks great:) too faced im not a fan of personally on my skin it rubs off too easily and breaks up. That’s why I love maybelline ;)
You put so much foundation on that I think it contributes to so many of the foundations you try on failing you. I wish you would ease up and maybe look at more modern tutorials on TH-cam.
If I were you, I’d go to Sephora or Ulta with that big orange on my face, and ask them, “In what world is this vanilla?” Lol

I would say she added powder after applying it and then showed her face. There’s no way that foundation is that dry looking. I have it and it’s very dewy.

@@SuperSarahbop a little goes a long way and I prefer it with a brush. The skin needs to be nice and prepped (she always preps her skin). I'm confident she may not hate it. It's become my absolute favorite. Less is more!
