This is simply stunning and I can't believe how easy it is! What a great video! I HAVE to make this! I've been making crochet projects and decided to make a knit sweater and realized I miss knitting. So this is on my list. Thank you!!
I like your teaching style. You are thorough and your speaking voice is at a good Pace I am calm as I watch and learn. This is so satisfying! I can't believe how easy this can be. Thank you!
Thank you so much. I have never progressed from very basic knitting stitches but this explains this elaborate looking stitch so brilliantly. I would love to give it a go!
I made this last year as my first knitting project. I had to undo and redo my first 10-15 rows a couple of times, but once I got the hang of it it was extremely easy and fun to complete. It's my favorite scarf that I own, and it looks so intricate and visually interesting! Thank you for the video!
Cable knitting has always scared me, but this tutorial is so easy to follow, I am itching to start (have to finish my blanket first). When I showed this to my daughter, she said the name was perfect, although it also put her in mind of Medusa. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you for sharing this with us x
@@studioknit ... it was wonderful to knit. Made an error that isn't visible, unless you know it's there. Loved it so much, I made a second one immediately after. I plan on making more.
This doesn't look too bad. I've never done cables before, but I think this will be a good first project for it once I finish some current WIPs. Thanks!
I have seen you before with your wonderful channel, but i just start and have a little think that making fashion stuff isn't easy so i start with amigurumi instead. But now, when i start making fashion stuff, i look up the internet for some scarf idea and saw your scarf, an absolutely beautiful pattern. Im planning on knitting this scarf, but 40 stitch cast on is A LOT but worth it since we making 2x2 ribs. Guess im visiting the yarn shop in a few dayy. Thank for your great pattern!
This scarf was my first ever knitting project, and I’m in love with both the results and the process! Thank you for this pattern! I’m only a tiny bit sad that I finished it just when the winter’s basically over and I won’t get to wear it for much longer 😄
So much easy design on your chanel ! Love it and i can't recommand your chanel to everyone ! Want to try it already but i should finish my two scarf i already start before i suppose... Sending you a lot of love from Reunion Island 🏝❤
this looks great and your video instructions are very good since I haven't done cables in a long time. I would like to do this scarf as soon as I finish what I'm working on now. And I love that it's reversible because most cables patterns are to reversible. And when I finish it, I would also like your tutorial on blocking because I haven't done that in ages, with my Mom when I was a little kid. Thanks.
I am in complete AWWW of how you teach this pattern!! I am a self-taught knitter and wish I found your sight earlier. I can't wait to make this absolutely gorgeous scarf. I haven't worked with bulky yarn before. Do you think it would look as good with a medium #4 weight yearn? Thank you for sharing this pattern, your knowledge and talent for teaching.
This is truly a brilliant design! I love it ! I truly appreciate the bindoff information as well! Thank you ! This inspires me to improve my needle skill
Hi Kristen. I don’t know how I missed this video. This pattern is stunning! I love the edges of the s art. It looks so warm and cozy! I don’t know if I have any straight needles in this size. I use circulars most of the time. I’ll have to get some! I did just buy some pretty cable needles from Lantern Moon. This might just be the project for them! Beautiful pattern and tutorial. Thanks for sharing.❤
Hello, the pattern is great ♥️ I wanted to ask, can it be done in some ways with only 36 stitches (4 zones)? I wanted to make it thinner but it seems that the pattern relies on an even numbers of zones of 4. Thanks!
Beautiful! Would love to see a blanket pattern with this cable pattern. Finished this last summer in bulky yarn and just enjoying it now in the cold northeast winter. I made it as an infinity scarf and it’s so warm! I’ve been asked where I bought it LOL. I have lots of worsted weight 100% wool I’d like to use to make a few more. Can you suggest how I could modify the pattern - cast on more stitches? TIA
I love this scarf and I really want to make this. I have tried making this and the cables come out looking weird. I’ve unraveled over and over. I followed the video and pattern. I can’t figure this out. 😭
Love the pattern and the tutorial is very easy to follow, but I'm so confused why it's not looking the same :( Ive done about 24 rows after the setup rows and the cable is going in a continuous S pattern instead of the flowy pattern you've shown in the photos. What am I doing wrong? 😭
Are you doing 4/4R with the cable needle across all 4 sections for row 3? That is what I did wrong first and had same issue. But she doesn’t show it in the video, you are meant to alternate 4/4R with K2,P2 within the sections of the same row.. Reread the pattern carefully, don’t only follow what she does in the vid! I had the same prob 4:55 “continue knitting row three in pattern” Hope this helps anyone
I have not been so excited to start a project in a long time. This is so beautiful! I can't wait! Will it translate to DK or worsted or does it have to be chunky?
It's so hard to do it I always mess up when it's time to start the part where I make the vine part. My needle always slips off and I have to restart again
@@Travel-Wise You may have already received an answer for your question, but the instructions online call for a Yardage: 400 - 440 yards (366 - 402 m) and the sample yarn used (Malabrigo Chunky) comes in Yardage/Meters: 104 yards (95 meters) or 4 skeins. Other brands of chunky weight yarns will come in different yardages, but this is a lovely yarn to work with in many beautiful colorways
@@studioknit I’m wondering why the pattern hasn’t worked for me but to be fair I really haven’t had a lot of time to really work on it too much. It’s a beautiful pattern. Also I’m left handed so I wanted to know if when I knit this if maybe my cables need to be switched. I’m not really sure how that works. Do you have any input on that??

Well, I'm about halfway through this scarf and.... I'm loving it. Not nearly as scary as I imagined. Cable is my new favourite to make
Wonderful, congrats!
