    I am always so happy to see your tutorials. You make the class so enjoyable. I just finished my scarf and it was so much fun and so easy. I love patterns without much Pearland because I'm not very fast at it. Thank you!!!!!

    Your scarf came out beautiful. I've been knitting for about 3 years, building my skills slowly over time. I don't think I'm ready for these brioche cables quite yet. I may attempt a cowl before trying a lengthy scarf. The scarf is so gorgeous!

      @@CrazyHandsKnitting I've just mastered the feather and fan stitch. I know that I need absolute quiet and no distraction when trying something new. I HATE having to rip back. I'm getting there. I NEED TO MAKE THAT SCARF!. I'll give it a try. If the yarn suffers too much from all the mistakes, I'll know I'm not ready. Can't hurt to try!

    Hi, I am new to brioche knitting, but you make everything look so easy. If I want to make a wider scarf, (42 stitches), do I work 3 cables? If so, is the 3rd cable front or back. Or do I just use 2 cables with more yo, s, k in between

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi. Thank you for your feedback. 1 cable = 8 stitches. So you will have 5 cables in total. If I am not mistaken your 12th row will be like this: sel s, C4F, [yo, slip the next stitch, k1] - repeat 4 times, C4F, [yo, slip the next stitch, k1] - repeat 4 times, C4F, sel s. It means you twist only 1st, 3d, and 5th cable. But in Row 24 you twist 2d and 4th cable. Please, let me know if it is clear.

    I hope you are still answering comments. I have 2 questions.
    1. If I mark the first brioche stitch row as the right side, does the cable twist occur on the right side or the wrong side?
    2. After the cable twist row, how many rows total are there before the next cable twist row?
    I love this reversible scarf pattern. You did a great job on the video. Thank you very much.

      @CrazyHandsKnitting  ปีที่แล้ว

      hi. If i got your question correctly:
      1) it will appear on the wrong side. Mark first row as WS ( I will correct it too)
      2)11 rows

    Beautiful pattern! If I want to knit 4 cables instead of 3, how many stitches should I cast on?

  • @kriskiefer-woolery5311
    @kriskiefer-woolery5311 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you need to have a double needle cast on, or can you use single? Also, I would like to use a provincial cast one so that the scarf can be an infinity scarf with minimal seam. Is that possible?

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was using double needle cast on but it doesn't matter double or single. Yes sure you can start with provisional cast on

    Beautiful scarf :) I have one question: is the cable done the same if working brioche in 2 colors instead of one? I am learning brioche right now and I can do the basic brioche rib fine but I am somehow always messing up cables 🤷

      Hi. Brioche in 2 colors is a bit different from if you knit in 1 color. If you are interested in this scarf I can make tutorial of the same scarf but in 2 colors. Let me know

    • @CrazyHandsKnitting
      @CrazyHandsKnitting  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need a stitch counter, you can buy it in any craft shop. I personally like to write down the number after i finish a certain row :)

    • @MsSassySean
      @MsSassySean ปีที่แล้ว

      When it looks like it is 2 when she says "knit 1" she is counting the (yarn over + slip stitch FROM THE PREVIOUS ROW) as 1 stitch. Listen carefully...she is saying what I wrote in the parentheses.
      Look at a video that is specifically teaching the brioche stitch...you'll get it in a snap!
