I'm a female, but My favorite exercise DVD of all time was one for older men. It consisted of jumping jacks and push ups and air squat and not much more. It was really simple and only 20 minutes long. Loved it.
I have tried so many work-outs and this is incredible. I started this and could only do up to 10, maybe 15 reps, but as I did all four, 20 reps over a few days - some days I did 60 each, some days 80, not quite at 100 yet. I love this - really getting me to engage. Thanks Jillain!!! Maybe you can add an excersise and make it 5 ???
I like that you mentioned doing the circuit throughout the day! I never thought about doing it like that, but it would make me more motivated if I can spread out my workout and not have to do it all at once!
These exercises are awesome! My apartment is on the 2nd floor and these exercises aren't a lot of jumping so I won't disturb my neighbors downstairs. Thanks for this, Jillian!

A video focusing on great workouts for people with sciatic nerve pain would be amazing, including things we can do that will strengthen the back well, and things we can do that won't irritate it/ flare it up. I'm sure there would be some overlap with other videos, but it would be interesting to get your pointers on which moves would help the most. It really hinders my ability to do more than about 20 minutes of cardio at a time right now, and it is making sleep very difficult which keeps me artificially hungry, so improving it would snowball in a lot of good ways in my life and probably the lives of others.

When I train in the evening I step it. Very fast. 😁 And when you want to make it more difficult, grab some weights (dumbells, books, water bottles, etc.)
I have a question: is working out a little bit at a time just as effective as doing it all in one go? I know doing a bit at a time is obviously better than doing nothing at all but I’ve always been curious about how effective long term would doing bursts of exercise throughout the day would be.
I love that you have a parrot!! When I am winging a HIIT routine I often end up doing jumping jacks because they are one of those exercises that gets more fun the more effort you give it. Also, sometimes I do "ghost ropes" and jump rope without a jump rope. 😆
Love this. Challenging, sure. Complicated, not a bit. Simpler than making a sandwich. I tried this along with a quick jog and it made for a great day. Not only did I enjoy it, but my silly kids joined in too. Thank you for keeping exercise simple.

Love this idea but any ideas for someone who had rotator cuff surgery 8 weeks ago? I can do squats no problems but can't do anything jarring or with my right arm yet! lol I need something. Love your channel
I recently started working out a bit in the evening or in the morning. My problem is I am skinny because this is my metabolism but I do have belly fat since pregnancy. I wonder if I would be able to get rid of it without losing considerable overall weight 🤔 I’m scared of trying more intense workout

Please tell me how to get curves. I am struggling so hard to get tiny waist and wide glutes. In this I trust no one more than you. Here is the problem, I belong to a very conservative family and I am not allowed to go to gym. So I can't lift heavy weights for big glutes. I already do free hand exercises what more can I do. Um, well... my idea of a home workout is a rack of smoked tender ribs off my RecTeq smoker, slathered with a sweet rub, brown sugar and honey then glazed over with my favorite BBQ sauce. Then, I grab a tall Modelo beer, throw on the game and watch some football. When I'm done with that, I'm calling it a night with my Cranberry milk chocolate bar -- but just a piece and top it off with a tall bottle of Alkaline water. Oh, yeah... I forgot to say I do work out... I RIDE my ATV for hours in my back yard which leads into the mountains with my Golden Retriever and when we get to the top of the world overlooking the mountain skylines, my face is dirty, my arms are tired, my body is sore and I'm feeling like I burned a zillion calories and my dog Charlie is just loving the outdoors with me. Sometimes I'll bring a mountain bike and ride through the forest and at 54 years old, my blood pressure is excellent I still weigh what I did in HS and I rarely step on a scale. Just sayin' folks.

I want the same BUT if you are super fit you can do at once OR add weight to the squat. Make jumping jacks burpees. Double up on reps if super fit.
