Finally, some Krillin love in a what if from Smugstick. 👍 I really love this idea of Krillin learning the Kaio-Ken because humans don't have access to transformations like the Saiyans do. 🙂 Also, a nice call back for Krillin when he was training alongside Goku when they were younger. I would definitely be up for continuing this into the Majin Buu Saga. 👍 My favorite part was Gohan & Krillin working together to take out Cell. Anyways another really good one-shot, and looking forward to your next video soon.
i love this story and the fact that he’s using the kaioken and genki dama is peak writing as he’s experienced the latter and his body would get stronger by constantly using it that’s why he could keep up with cell at the beginning in base
I’m so happy to see Krillin get some love ^^ Honestly, since the new movie came out, I’ve been really wanting to see a What If where Krillin wishes for a unique Human transformation to help him catch up and fight alongside the others again on an even playing field. I figured, out of everyone besides Piccolo, Krillin or Tien deserves something like that the most. And I would love if it was Krillin who got it. Another what if idea I think would be interesting is what if Tarble landed on Earth alongside Goku. I figured it’d be interesting to see the two become close friends and then see Vegeta’s reaction in the Saiyan Saga XD
I don't think they should wish for it, the humans have been training their whole lives so if they're going to get a power up it should be through some kind of interesting technique to contrast with the Saiyan's brute force. Remember the destructo disc and how it could theoretically kill far stronger opponents? Imagine a technique similar to that but it actually works sometimes. Or they could learn some support techniques that can't defeat an enemy on their own but greatly aid the team in some way.
This is one of the best! I kinda felt chills watching this! Krillin and all the OG z characters are my favourite and it feels so good to see them get it right!
Y'know Ive always wanted Kaioken to be passed down to Yamcha and Krillin gets his own form. Like with Tien the guy who practically spread the technique of flight to the Z Fighters would have a certain mastery over it
Nice Smugstick, giving Krillin some well-deserved respect, can't wait for the next video, also here's a suggestion, if you're taking ideas from the games, how a what if from Shin Budokai 2 Another Road, where Future Trunks fights Babidi in the future and goes back to the past to recruit the z fighters to help him.
I’ve always liked the idea of Krillin having Kaioken, I grew up playing DBZ Supersonic Warriors on the GBA and the best version of Krillin (Level 3) was able to use the Kaioken (which was done by hitting the L button at max ki)
I am not exactly a Krillin fan, but I think this what if is an improvement from Cell saga, and I LOVE the Cell saga. I can predict: - Trunks staying for a while to learn Super Saiyan 2, all the other saiyans would aim for that form too. - Tien might want to learn the Genki Dama/Spiit bomb and develop a way to use its energy in a new variation of the Tribeam/Kikohu, this way he can spam a stronger version of it without injuring or tiring himself. - Yamcha might want to learn the kaiokin and merge it with his Wolf Fang Fist, maybe calling it (Kai Wolf Fist), since he's not that outclassed and he can see a path to compete with he strongest of them. - Piccolo might just learn the Kaiokin, it would work well with his Namekian regeneration. - Krillin will teach them all of that in order for him to master these techniques better, but he'll also want to learn the buff form from Roshi, perhabs merging it with the Kaiokin will negate the side effects of both techniques, the stronger body handling the increased power without being torn apart, and the Kaioking giving a speed boost to the buff form. then the Buu saga comes, Vegeta becomes majin and fights any of them really... Gohan or Piccolo might be the best match for him, while the others fight Dabura, Buu is revived, and they all die. sorry, but they just can't handle Buu without super Saiyan 3 or fusion, and Majin Vegeta will still happen, so they are doomed :/
Because kaioken take a lot of toll on the body and Goku have a Better body because he Is a Saiyan, the human Will get their body destroy if they try to use kaioken
@@zdrfede The humans could still use kaioken, the only thing is the rate of growth would be slower compared to Goku. They could eventually get the hang of it and get up to times 20, if not more if they did much intense training.
@@zdrfede In Dragon Ball your power level has a direct relationship with your durability, power, speed, etc. There is no reason why the humans wouldn't be able to use it eventually, even though sayians and namekians are more durable than humans for the most part.
The true reason for it being, is not just because of the toll that it can take, but it requires a great deal of concentration to keep it under control, and since it is a major uprise in ki, if not kept in check it could easily obliterate them. So not only requiring significant ki control and a powerful body, But that ki control would have to remain constant in battle to not practically destroy the user from the inside-out. Goku's saiyan biology helps but his prodigal ability to control ki is why king Kai taught him at all. Which is also why in the saiyan saga, Goku only used it for short bursts. He didn't have the mastery of the technique to keep his ki in check for longer. Hope this helps.

Maybe the Buu saga part of the Supersonic Warriors Krillin story isn't as compelling, but I do wanna see where it goes into Super though, and there's a lot of stuff from Super, the movies or just plausible developments that could be added to spice up the Buu saga part. I mean, the Cell saga part had plenty of empty spaces you filled up pretty well, who's to say you can't do it with the Buu saga? So yes, I do want to see it continue, maybe this will be the what if where we see a 4 way fusion (or a fusion of fusions) between the humans at the ToP
And like Make it special like I always saw humans in the anime as more of technique over power, so what the power up were to contain a string of techniques in succession and high iq fighting over strength and speed

I'm guessing that Goku teaching Krillin Kaioken, brought his heart Virus sooner. But seeing FUTURE Krillin learning Kaioken (during the future 3 years) would have been a more interesting story.
The nameck saga was basically the Gohan Krillen and Vegeta show. So when the android saga came around it seemed off at first that he was falling behind despite so much focus given beforehand. So seeing this brought a smile to my face

Adding another comment that this would push the 5 of: Vegeta, Gohan, Piccilo, Tien and Krillen all to not slack because they are without Goku! I think Piccilo would wish to be stronger against Buu as well as Krillen making the selfless mode actually be a power up than just a shiny form. Good Buu would push Gohan to still be Mystic agaisnt evil Buu and Vegeta wouldnt turn Majin. I think the Buu sage could be so cool in this what if. Again I love it
I always assumed Krillin and the others knew some watered down version of Kaioken otherwise no way would they have any chance against the Cell Jrs or androids. Piccolo even tells Dr. Gero they all learned how to momentarily boost their energy to make their attacks more powerful which is the basic outline of Kaioken. again probably not as potent but still similar
Now here's an idea, make what ifs on entirely different anime all together. There are only so many dragon ball what ifs you can make before it gets repetitive, I'd say you should branch out to stuff like one piece or heck even bleach. It would be interesting to see those kind of videos made by you.

I always assumed Krillin and the others knew some watered down version of Kaioken otherwise no way would they have any chance against the Cell Jrs or androids. Piccolo even tells Dr. Gero they all learned how to momentarily boost their energy to make their attacks more powerful which is the basic outline of Kaioken. again probably not as potent but still similar

Yo, What if Gohan unlocked his beast transformation in GT (probably somewhere in the baby saga or the shadow dragon saga)
Now here's an idea, make what ifs on entirely different anime all together. There are only so many dragon ball what ifs you can make before it gets repetitive, I'd say you should branch out to stuff like one piece or heck even bleach. It would be interesting to see those kind of videos made by you.
