Anyone else get a little heart broken when future Bulma said she always believes in vegeta vs past bulma who just gave up on vegeta and expected him to just stay away and act like nothing wasgoingto go wrong. Truly a great story and shows honestly how toxic Bulma can be

Bro Bulmas the toxic one for believing Vegeta could put them all in danger? Bro did literally just that during the Buu saga by giving into Babadi and going Majin, then dragging Goku into a fight, despite knowing it could risk Buu being revived. Shockingly, it did exactly that and would eventually result in the earth getting destroyed by Kid Buu. When just an arc before Vegeta let Cell become perfect, completely on purpose. Vegeta could've killed Semi Perfect Cell, and letting him go Perfect ended up with Vegeta getting his ass beat, and eventually nearly destroying earth. Only not doing so because of Gokus sacrifice. Even after that, Vegetas fuckup against Super Perfect Cell resulted in Gohan getting hurt. Not once did Vegeta show any remorse for letting Cell go Perfect to anyone. Let's not forget that on Namek Vegeta slaughtered how many Namekians? Let Frieza transform into his 2nd form as well, when he could have potentially taken Frieza out in his first form. Obviously during the Saiyan saga Vegeta and Nappa were the ones invading earth. Don't need to say anything there. Vegeta consistently was a threat to earth in literally every arc except maybe the Androids. Bulma was completely right in thinking Vegeta would put earth in danger. He literally does that in Canon in the following arc

Vegeta tried to get back the way it were because of the betrayal but no matter how much he changes... There will Be always a light in him
There’s a lot of things that I love and dislike from this story. In particular, I love the way that Vegeta is handled, but I feel as though people like Goku and Gohan would’ve sympathized with him more and tried to bring out the good in him no matter what. That just fits their characters more, I think. Overall though, this was a fantastic story.

Let’s see a version of movie 9, Trunks being more involved, Gohan keeping up with his training Vegeta beating Frieza, and Vegeta being the anti hero throughout the story and no main Vegeta betrayal just to reawaken the evil he once had. (Yeah I know the irony of the last one) I think it sounds a lot better
stories like this and the goku betrayed story are some of my favorites because they change the characters in huge ways and give more drama to the storys.

Story was fantastic and I loved it! Just gonna say though, Bulma has undying loyalty to Vegeta. She herself changed A LOT once she got with him for the better. I know she'd never do anything like this. The concept and story was still wild! Thanks for sharing and good work!

This story was great !! I've watched a lot of the videos on this channel , but this one stuck out to me the most so far. It had everything. The betrayal by Bulma, Vegeta's path down vengeance and search for power, his secret desire for acceptance and a family but too proud to admit it. Then it wraps up with his redemption. So good this makes me wanna start writing again lol. Please keep up the good work SmugStick ! I can't wait to see what else you have for us!!
It was a pretty neat What if alright, particularly like how Moro was handled, and the whole bit with Vegeta forming his own crew and going his own path was pretty entertaining.
Doe... I gotta say I didn't really like the whole dynamic between Vegeta and the Z fighters. Like, they flip flop between accepting Vegeta and seeking him out, to hating and treating him as an enemy way too quickly with barely anything really causing those changes... With the worst parts being that Vegeta really hasn't done much villainous acts to deserve that label.
Like, it'd make more sense for the Z fighters to ultimately turn on Vegeta if he doubled down on his pride, and actively killed people as collateral damage of his rampage (like he did in the Android Saga), rather than have him be coolheaded and noble in his pursuit to take his kid back.
Cause as it ended, it felt like the Z fighters should have just stayed cautious of Vegeta, but not outright despising him. Goku especially doesn't seem like his opinion should have changed much when Vegeta acted pretty merciful. So it's strange to see him flip flop from friendly to antagonistic and back to friendly so easily just cause everybody else got that sentiment. I mean, Goku could befriend friggin Frieza, doubt he would care much if the others fear Vegeta when he technically hasn't done much but just duel without any casualties.
There is also the strange thing with kid Trunks going from being indifferent to Bulma to being attached to her when they hardly had any interactions at all.... It just feels very disjointed as the story seems like it's going for something emotional, but without much build up while also rushing through the events in general.
All in all it was alright, but not as good as it could have been.
What I love about Zamasu when he takes someone's body is that the black outfit is always the same as the Goku Black from the original story.
This has to be one of the saddest stories I've heard on your channel more than the What-If Goku was betrayed as you can definitely see or hear how Vegeta's life in this What-If was filled with betrayal after betrayal and that the people who loved him turned against him especially Bulma but this story did have a happy ending especially when Bulma and Vegeta forgave each other.
I wonder if there would be a continuation to this story especially with how Champa and rest of U6 seeing Vegeta

Just because he lost his tail, it doesn’t mean Vegeta lost the ability completely. In GT, Vegeta didn’t have his tail for years yet, through the Blutz Wave Machine, his tail came out and he could transform. Just because his tail was gone for years, it doesn’t mean his Saiyan ability to transform disappeared forever

Vegeta in court is the funniest thing I seen all day.
I mean.. bulma could have just gathered the dragon balls and wished she never betrayed Vegeta, or that Vegeta was never able to escape prison.
Ultra Ego might fit Vegeta better here than in the official arc. Both transformations are associated with Vegeta going back to his older ways, but while in Super it's a temporary shift towards his old arrogance (despite being the more reserved Saiyan throughout most of Super), it's a cathartic act that returns his emotion.
this really shows us what would have happened if they betrayed vegeta i mean that they do have the benefit of the doubt he did let cell reach his perfect form but still it wasn’t his fault it was his saiyan pride

What if future goku was reincarnated after dying from the heart virus
I think something that could of been improved was the catalyst for this whole thing. Bulmas justification for betraying Vegeta felt like a little bit of a reach. What I'd suggest is that maybe she sees Vegetas want to go back to the way he was before and do similarly to what he did as Majin Vegeta, seeing that Vegeta could become an enemy of the Z Warriors in the future.
This is surprisingly a very well made story
