i am having trouble with the steering belt tension... i have it as loose as it can go but my belt still will not fit over the threads. almost like i need to loosen up more but it is s loose as it goes. do you know what the problem may be?

For the life of me I can't get my water pump belt on the alternator belt was easy

@@DfourFix my 2003 Mitsubishi lancer makea alot of squeaking noises especially when starting, and after sitting for a few hours or overnight I start it and it cuts right of unless I give it gas, do you know what it could be?
