Very good point balance between the light and dark is what the force requires hence they allowed the Jedi to be nearly eradicated and later the Sith as well, I think that’s what maintaining the balance of the force means
Spot on. The Je'daii order, a precursor to both Jedi and Sith, were cognizant of all aspects of the force, and avoided going to far to the light or the dark (even sending its members to opposing temples to meditate if they were becoming too immersed in one or the other), but when they split the groups they became embraced either the Light or the Dark and largely forgot the middle. Anakin destroyed the Jedi order that had become corrupt, then destroyed the Sith, and the only remaining "Jedi" was more like a gray Jedi as he refused to be consumed by the dark but frequently made use of the dark side of the force (as could be seen when he force-choked a gamorrean and in other content used force lightning), was less dogmatic, and even went against his mentors (both Obi and Yoda expected him to kill Vader, but he overpowered him in a dark side rage but then turned away from it) who were certainly pleasantly surprised given their force ghosts at the end of Episode 6.
It was good but did have some stinkers. Like making vader's suit be super cheap in universe. I get that it was probably to show that sheev was evil and the system was inefficient, but my view of darth vader is ruined now that I know he can be immoblized by pressing a button on his chest.

Matthew St. Cyr It was specifically the Druids, the religious, priestly caste of the pagan Celts, who had an oral tradition. They considered it profane to record their religious traditions. Hello @Star Wars Reading Club I love your content and when I'm at a loss of what to do with my time there is always one or more of your videos to watch, thanks for your passion for star wars and thanks for sharing it with us all 😉
The oppressive and evil Jedi , could not stand the fact that the force did not belong to them alone. They destroyed any order that worshipped the force other than themselves. They told the galaxy that they were wiped out by super novas and other natural disasters . But we know the truth don't we .
If there's anybody in Star Wars that could express an opinion that would actually matter outside of the movers and shakers of this thing. It'd be this guy even though I didn't find the light side group that he highlighted as interesting as he did. It did cause me to perk up just a little bit more. Always great buddy thanks
Fascinating topic for a video! It's tempting to equate the Jedi with the totality of the light side of the Force, but of course theirs can be only one interpretation.
So you say the Zeison Sha order began like 2000 years before clone wars, but there’s mention of Zeison Sha equipment in Kotor II, which is like 10 years after the Mandalorian Wars, which are in like 4000 BBY
I love you, dude. I really do, but I need to ask you the same question I ask my friends whenever Jedi-or-Sith conversations come up: "Why not jensaari?"
You should do a video of light and dark side orders other than the Jedi and sith that rivel each othe. And a video of light side organizations that survived order 66. That vader didn't know about. Or Care.
I always wished that this stuff was used for a movie or something. A modern Jedi and modern Sith who strays from their traditional views being more interested in their respective opposite sides to gain more knowledge and power while also remaining align in their own force side or at least turning ‘grey’ (balance) in their learning.
What I love about this comment section is that people are for the most part not fighting over shit like TLJ but rather just having fun and talking about something we all share in common. A love of star wars
Always interesting to see the different ways the light side of the force could be used. The dark side is very direct it’s powers, the light side definitely has some unexplored opportunities.
So which of these orders does the Jedi Path see as threat? I imagine the Zaison Sha but it's unclear if any of the other orders are even mentioned in the path.
You didn't mention the "Jensaarai" it would have been great to see someone else mention them. Trust me you might enjoy reading about them. Their order is by far my favorite and is worth a look for any star wars fan in my opinion.
Looking forward to the stream tomorrow i have some talking points i want to bring up like 3 more hero and villian pairs which in my opinion should be added to battlefront 2 and the maps and abilities they should bring with them.
ASSUMING for a moment that there really is such a thing as "the dark side of the Force" and "the light side of the Force" (a dubious notion), then what in hell could cause the Jedi to think (per 1:03) that "the Force's will" could be quarantined to just one side?
That was awesome. Do you think there are enough to do a video on Force traditions that were either neutral in the light an dark, or that saw the light/dark as a false dichotomy?
Of all those Orders, it was the JEDI who stopped the Sith time and again. It was the Jedi who, despite their persecution at hte hands of the galaxy, stopped the Yuuzhan Vong. It was the Jedi who fought tooth and nail to stop Abeloth from destroying the Galaxy. The Jedi were the heroes, these other groups barely did anything. Hell, the Fallanassi even became puppets of Abeloth.

The Druids, being one of the noble classes, did have access to this knowledge but chose not to use it.
Mikhail Romanos I am already aware, but thanks.
hahahahahahahahahaha\
*Any civilization that didn't popularize literacy
While i get that it was technically one big war, every time you say "the clone war" I die a little
What of sub orders such as the Correlian Jedi that not only allowed relationships but promoted families and havong children?
The Green Jedi were more like Correlian soldiers with Jedi training, really. (Or Jedi who left the order and joined Correlia military instead)
That only exists because some 10 year old wrote a letter to Lucas whining about wanting to marry and be a Jedi. The moral: Everything in Star Wars is made up and canon if you can get people to agree with you.
@@douglassfunnie9959 or if you're the creator of said series and you get the final say in the matter
Personally I liked the force & nature priests of the Ithorians from KOTOR2 the best.
Tfw the Jedi aint gonna tolerate other interpetation of the force
Tfw they did and had friendly competitions/tests with the Baran Do, were welcomed by the Aing Tii, and were only disliked by the Fallanassi cause they got off their asses and tried to make the galaxy a better place instead of being non-interventionist.
What are You even? When do the Jedi become hostile to anyone in this list? Did You even watch the video?
@@daviddeaguiar5643 Cultural destruction is just as bad as genocide.

Frank Fogel
#palpatinedidnothingwrong
The Jedi were treasonous murderous kidnappers .
Well they do kidnap children by traditions so they could have been doing it before it was legal and train children to fight with weapons
The Jedi are holy and just.
Frank Fogel , you and me mister we could really out ugly those sons of bitches couldn't we?
You, sir, are an absolute need.
It. Is. Glorious.
Favorite Force Orders: Jenessaarai, Tyia, Findsmen, Matukai, and the Fallanassi. Not necessarily in that order.
So you say the Zeison Sha order began like 2000 years before clone wars, but there’s mention of Zeison Sha equipment in Kotor II, which is like 10 years after the Mandalorian Wars, which are in like 4000 BBY
Im surprised the Jal-shey were not mentioned
I love you, dude. I really do, but I need to ask you the same question I ask my friends whenever Jedi-or-Sith conversations come up: "Why not jensaari?"
You should do a video of light and dark side orders other than the Jedi and sith that rivel each othe.
And a video of light side organizations that survived order 66. That vader didn't know about. Or Care.
What about gray organizations ones that follow both the light and dark
Wow those stone lizard monks look just like I imagined they would!
I always wished that this stuff was used for a movie or something. A modern Jedi and modern Sith who strays from their traditional views being more interested in their respective opposite sides to gain more knowledge and power while also remaining align in their own force side or at least turning ‘grey’ (balance) in their learning.
here before order 66
Awesome video topic bro, what about grey jedi/bendu Like beings that followed different types of religion
What I love about this comment section is that people are for the most part not fighting over shit like TLJ but rather just having fun and talking about something we all share in common. A love of star wars
leon kennedy - Spot on!!
I was afraid to jinx it lol
Excellent Legends Vid!
Good narration, thanks...
What about the Jensaraai?
Nice list.
What about the Jal Shey though?
Great stuff, i had only heard of a few of these
Always interesting to see the different ways the light side of the force could be used. The dark side is very direct it’s powers, the light side definitely has some unexplored opportunities.
I also left a like for Jedi hubris.
@Star Wars Reading Club I'm really surprised you didn't mention the Altisan Jedi.
Falanassi are my favourite,by far,and Jedi predacessors..Jed'ddi or something like that..
So which of these orders does the Jedi Path see as threat? I imagine the Zaison Sha but it's unclear if any of the other orders are even mentioned in the path.
This helps me understand the Acolyte show more!
Yes I ask this question but in a different way
Were there any force organization that used both the light and dark in harmony
Thank you for not excluding the expanded universe of old
You could say the Jedi Order itself went against the light.
No, not really. These other orders were more then happy to meet with and share with the Jedi.
Why do u lie, u piece of sith spawn?
You should do one on all the force religions currently in canon!
Did u mention the "ducks" from clone wars s.6?.
The only group that the Jedi seemed to go against were the ones they forgot to retrieve
The stream is tomorrow, can't wait!
The aing tii sound quite cool it’s interesting to hear about these other light side orders, shame many are no longer canon
you forgot to mention the ossus order. good video :P
why dont you use bby and aby?
These are some of my favourite videos
Can we get a video on grey orders next?
In the opening picture, who is that on the left, they look awesome !
You didn't mention the "Jensaarai" it would have been great to see someone else mention them. Trust me you might enjoy reading about them. Their order is by far my favorite and is worth a look for any star wars fan in my opinion.
Jensaarai were mentioned in the Dark Side organizations, since they were corrupted before they turned more gray
2 questions. Is this canon? And did the orders have light sabers?
you can find that answer on Wookiepedia
11:55 oh yea baby, work the shaft too
The fallanassi sound almost exactly like a light side version of the nightsisters.
Fascinating video!
What about the mystics from the planet Voss?
Looking forward to the stream tomorrow i have some talking points i want to bring up like 3 more hero and villian pairs which in my opinion should be added to battlefront 2 and the maps and abilities they should bring with them.
RKMNgaming what time is the stream tomorrow?
E M 3 pm Eastern standard time
RKMNgaming ok thanks. I'll try to join you guys.
Was hoping to see some mention of the Killian Rangers. Would you mind doing a video on them?
Wonderful research, as ever!
As always, wonderful video Star Wars Reading Club!
ASSUMING for a moment that there really is such a thing as "the dark side of the Force" and "the light side of the Force" (a dubious notion), then what in hell could cause the Jedi to think (per 1:03) that "the Force's will" could be quarantined to just one side?
No Imperial Knights?
MrShaneVicious they don't follow the Light Side genius, they follow the Emperor and are basically just Gray Jedi
lol
What novels could I read to learn about the other force users?
Barren do sages are canon??
So is youtube creating chapters in videos with machine learning now?
Teepo and Shimura would make a great video.
What about the Iron knights?
That was awesome. Do you think there are enough to do a video on Force traditions that were either neutral in the light an dark, or that saw the light/dark as a false dichotomy?
The iron knights: Are we a joke to you?
What about Grey Force user orders?
And from all 9 orders of light, Jedi only one seek power and are jealous. Rest follow the path of Force, Jedi fallow serving them self and republic.
Andrej Telisman They are the only order that really actively opposed the with though
What about Orders of the Balanced sides of the force?
What about the Dagoyans?
You helped me find wat I was looking for. The fallanassi
I think chirrut imwe is a guardian of breath
Fortune cookie productions isn't he supposed to be one of the Guardians of the Whills or something?
