Star Wars Reading Club I'm ok with Lando coming back as long as they don't give him the same OT treatment most of the other OT characters have gotten so far in the Sequel Trilogy. That Keri Russell news is straight depressing me, tho. 😒😫😞 😂😂😂
They have to bring Lando back to make sure they check off the "we brought a black guy back too, and he didn't even die!" box on their sjw list. I hope it makes sense in the story (as every decision should), but I don't have much faith. I enjoyed all the new movie (Rogue One especially) but once I turn off the hype and turn on my brain things get disappointing.

Cognus was infatuated with Bane for the few moments she was around him. And when Zannah upheld Banes tenets she too knew, just KNEW, it was the correct way. The Mutant Sith started out so well, and his abilities is what drew the Ikotochi. Her power was rare outside her race. But of course, she was so hell bent on upholding her idols methods like her master before her, she wouldn’t tolerate even a thought of modifying it. Which when you think about it, she was right to be so hell bent. The Sith failed because they refused to follow the way exactly.
I'm also curious about why they are classified as Dark Side. Their abilities can be replicated via telekinesis and virtually all Force Sensitives, Dark, Light, or Grey, use that. So why are the Shapers considered Dark Side? Is it because they primarily used their abilities for battle? Or could it be something else?
They are actually originally neutral and even leaning light side, they were part of the Saga rpg but were mentioned in the secrets of the sith book as dark side for some reason. I play one actually, they're really damn cool
Clash Gamer the Nightsisters relied on the Dark Side in Legends canon. Most of them were Dathomiri "witches" who fell to the Dark Side after being exiled for using the Dark Side in the first place.
I really hope we get to see different variations of force users in the movies. Beings that have substantial power in the force who aren't Jedi or Sith.

The Sorcerers of Rhand taught him Darksight, a ability they use to foresee various possible futures and then use that knowledge to manipulate certain events in order to achieve their desired outcome. It was his use of Darksight which ultimately led him to leave the Sorcerers of Rhand, and the Unknown Regions, and go to Dromund Kaas where he joined the Prophets of the Dark Side, and eventually the Empire for Emperor Palpatine.

I know this is all EU but the "Black Guard" sure sounds a lot like Kylo and Snoke, what with Snoke telling Kylo how he is "unbalanced" as though balance between light and dark is his goal (otherwise, what an odd thing for a dark sider to say?!?). But also the use of those weapons, and the location on Mustafar (seen in Rogue One), shall I continue?
I think in retrospect Snoke tried to fool Kylo with the comment, to keep him conflicted and that´s why he wasn´t so happy that he chased after Han. While Kylo killing Han backfired at first it gave him clarity and ultimately made him stronger, because he finally realized who his real enemy is. A Kylo that is obsessed with killing Han won´t plot to kill Snoke and Snoke would be free to use him until he was no longer useful. I mean the moment Snoke mocked Kylo´s helmet might´ve been his biggest mistake, because it gave him the push to reject Vader´s legacy.

This deal was by no means unprecedented, it sounds more like a non aggression pact, major powers in the galaxy could get on despite having wildly different philosophies provided that neither posed a direct threat to the other, there were deals with pre rule of two Sith empires.

Legends also had Imperial Knights who while not outright lightside exclusively, it was their duty to force an emperor to abdicate or even kill them, if they fell to the darkside (this is for the Fel Empire ruling like)

Armin Tabari I liked The Last Jedi. Didn't care much for Rey's non-personality, Leia's space-flight and the manbashing. But Kylo Ren is very fascinating. Luke's behavior was entirely realistic. People are largely butthurt because it's not what they expected, they just wanted to watch Luke fight bad guys with a laser sword.
The Blackguard were probably my favorite, founded by the apprentice of Skere Kaan, trained with lightsabers, and believed that gaining knowledge made them more powerful in the Force. After them it's either the Prophets or the Mecrosa.
A dark side order that was spared from the "No Darkside tolerance" Jedi Order? (Before EU Luke changed that) That is quite a feat, I want to know more about these Shapers of Kro Var.
I'm not sure if I pointed this out before, but technically the Shapers of Kro Var aren't considered a proper Dark Side order... at least not when they were created for the Saga Edition Star Wars RPG. That's a large part of why the Jedi were able to make peace with them.

The Shapers of Kro Var aren't actually Darksiders Wookieepedia says "the Jedi decided that the Shapers were not users of the dark side" which is why the Jedi developed peaceful relations with them

Armin Tabari I liked The Last Jedi. Didn't care much for Rey's non-personality, Leia's space-flight and the manbashing. But Kylo Ren is very fascinating. Luke's behavior was entirely realistic. People are largely butthurt because it's not what they expected, they just wanted to watch Luke fight bad guys with a laser sword.

I'm not sure if I pointed this out before, but technically the Shapers of Kro Var aren't considered a proper Dark Side order... at least not when they were created for the Saga Edition Star Wars RPG. That's a large part of why the Jedi were able to make peace with them.
