When I comes down to pure wrestling and a match, Bret is as good as anyone else

Steve Austin has said that
1. Ric Flair is the greatest professional wrestler he has ever seen,
2. Shawn Michaels is the greatest in ring performer he has ever seen, and
3. Bret Hart is the most believable worker he has ever seen. Everything Brett did looked good and was realistic and believable. The order he was doing them and how he was doing them to somebody else also made perfect sense and was believable.
The nickname Excellence of execution is a fitting one because he executed everything moves and psychology perfectly

Bret is better than anyone I can think.of from a pure in ring stand point, I care about believability and hes one of the only ones that can inspire that.

@@RobwLPOCDefinitely mate👍 To me Ric Flair is the greatest showman in wrestling, Shawn Michaels is the greatest performer both had great matches obviously and Bret Hart is the greatest wrestler! Bret did not just wrestle and look good consistently but also made others look good more. And if anyone looks over any of these 3 great wrestlers matches through their careers I’d say Brets matches with whoever would be would be better over a career

WWE could have had a long run with Bret, HBK, Taker, Rock and HHH exchanging the title. In an alternate universe, Bret is never asked to leave, Owen never has to do the Blue Blazer gimmick again and thus doesn't die, and Bret, no longer having Goldberg's incompetence to worry about, he wrestles into the 2010s at a high level. Imagine a run of matches with Bret and Kurt Angle at his peak. Vince really screwed us all that night.

There's a pretty big either/or with Bret Hart - either he's the Biggest whiner of all time, or he's so dedicated to the business that it's been a work this whole time, and he's still working us. I believe he's the whiner, so if he is just maintaining the illusion, it would make him just about the greatest.
