    The hinged 1/4 inch foot is a game changer. Probably my favorite video.

    The hinged 1/4” foot (last one) is by far my favorite, too. The foot with the guide is a “fat” 1/4”, the scant 1/4” is too scant for me and compensating foot I like to use on bags and a lot of thicknesses. It took me a while to locate the hinged 1/4” foot but it’s the most accurate 1/4” for me.

    Very interesting video! Could you please make a comparision between Janome HD9 vs Juki TL 2010 and/or Juki TL 18QVP? Thank you!

    This is great information, thanks. On the throat plate there’s a 1/4” guide but it’s difficult to follow when I’m sewing fast. I need the hinged 1/4” for sure!

    Hello Boki, i knew to push the bobbin in with my thumb , even tho i used the "door"
    To insert my bobbin, on a previous sewing machine.
    It's so much easier to take out or put in the bobbin. So just give a little push and listen for the click. Then you're all set to sew.

    I would love to see you add the swing away sewing gauge to this list. I use it with the standard foot for a scant 1/4” foot/combo. I can sew fast with the help of the gauge (I don’t need to watch the edge of the foot). Swings away easily for HSTs, etc. Juki brand swing gauge is the best!

    As a sewing aficionado, I come to sites like this for clues as to what I might do better. I might even decide to buy something. That means we need to skip the small talk between points and the fast talk when we finally get there. I like it when the speaker knows what points to make and does so slowly and clearly, as in s-l-o-w-l-y a-n-d c-l-e-a-r-l-y, p-l-e-a-s-e. It might mean going over things once or twice before posting. Some of your fans are a bit older... :)

    What’s the difference between the tl2020 , the tl18 and the janome hd9? Great video, thanks!

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      To sum it up short the TL-2020 is the same as the TL-2010 but the 2020 has lots more accessories and a pretty platinum color. The Hd-9 is very similar to the TL-18 except the TL-18 has a micro lifter more accessories and much easier to FMQ on. However the HD-9 has a tad more power and is a lot bulkier and heavier.

      The standard presser foot isn't a true 1/4 foot. The hinged is the accurate 1/4 that most people want to achieve.

    My sewing machine needs no design. I will design with pen on fabric and sew using free motton on sewing machine.
    There will be only two layers of cloth. One above and one below. So which is the best sewing machine in low budget

    I have been looking at the juke brand for over a year. Why do I hesitate, because the comments, reviews on the threader, the food pedal the bobbin that is just a few I have been reading. Why juki is having problems .. but my stupid cheap brother however cannot sew very good, but all the simple little features like auto-threader foot pedal and tension never have a problem. I need a more semi-industrial machine. Ugg frustrated.

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Juki is a very reliable brand. Trust me we handle the warranty and the warranty problems have faded out very fast. They switched manufacturers a couple years ago and had some bad foot pedals out there. They’ve been all very smooth sailing since the issue was addressed. We make sure to take care of our customers as fast as possible should there be a warranty issue. :)

    Gentlemen take off their hats whilst indoors!

    • @mkmartin559
      @mkmartin559 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's partly generational, partly cultural, and largely fading out. Hats are no longer simply outerwear; they are part of outfits in modern street fashion. And, if "gentlemen" have to take their hats off, "everyone else" should too. Equal is equal. Anyway, I've seen an awful lot of guys take their hats off indoors whilst still being no kind of gentlemen. Don't judge a book by its cover.
