icy blue or purple would be sick for the calipers, they do powder coats so it'll really pop if you get a bright color, white/silver would look good too. I got a 98 z28 cammed/nitrous and some other goodies, same color. also insane they got your rear end in that quick, that's a quality shop right there.
Great upgrade. I have 4.10s in my manual SS and its a huge difference over the stock 3.42s. Waiting for the brake upgrade video! My car is need of a upgrade pretty soon.
EBC red pads. DONE. Lol 98-02 f body brakes are more than adequate of triple digit stopping very fast. Pad fade is what happens, buy a good set of pads and blank rotors.
@@NoChillChad i like my ws6 rims and stock non painted calipers. But I spend my money in performance only pretty much....was just pointing out, you can have a VERY powerful braking setup with a simple pad swap. Also just a shout out, An eBay vendor called BrakeMotive makes GREAT blanks. I got all 4 for $120 dollars. Got them when I got my new set of pads. I’ve ran the EBC reds on all of my f bodies. Currently my car is 11:1 heads, cam, Procharged, meth etc. makes a lot of steam, my brake setup total was like 300 bucks for all four corners new pads and rotors. Stops me from triple digits quite often haha. Also be easy with those 4.10s. Idk what rear you have but I had to have a 9 inch after two 10 bolts in 10k miles
@@matthewstansbury3047 yeah it’s all good. I spend my money on performance primarily BUT if I spend on cosmetics, I need it to function. Everything on this car will be touch because I need the performance on the street and strip as well as look good as shows. I’ve heard the C5Z brakes work perfectly fine tho. I also went with 3.73s and not the 4.10s. They are only temporary until I do a 9”. Trust me, this build you’re gonna love!😎💪🏾
Love the content 👌, I've got an 02 ss as well, and live in Richmond, how did you like ms tuning? He's got mixed reviews on the web, I'm just lookin for a quality local tuner, need my cam dialed in...
MS Tuning is great! You can tell him what kind of results you’re looking for and he can make it happen. Sometimes it does take a couple revisions to get it where you want it but he has the knowledge, capability and experience to do it. Pat G is also highly recommended, to get the kinks of but he’s in Victoria.
😂😂 You should do break in miles on a new engine, trans or diff. You just need to do a fluid change to remove any dirt, debris or metal shavings that could be in the fluid from fresh parts, That’s all… nothing major tho.
How do you like the Mickey Thompson street ss? I drive my car on the highway and heard horror stories about them over 70mph. Any noticeable difference in drive ability? Also you have a very clean car notice any road rash in the back from the sticky tires?
I actually love the Mickeys on the 4th gen. I’ve had issues with the ET Street R on my 6th gen but that also had an IRS. So I’m sure that may have something to do with it. Also, no issue with Road rash in the back. It does tend to pick up excess dirt and grime but easily comes off.
What lowering springs are u on, I have the same color ss but a 6spd, trying to get my ride height down… current eibachs are way to low especially with my 3in y pipe.

@@matthewstansbury3047 but appearance is important too and the stock brakes look like they come on a Honda prelude 😂

Love your car Big C I’m looking at a 2002 WS6 pewter color it has a LSX 454 swap. The car only has 69,000 on it and it’s a 6 speed.
If you can get it… DO IT!
Congrats on the sponsorship! 👍
Hello. What brand of gears did you go with? Any gear noise compared to stock?
Richmond
Thanks
Damn 500 mile break in? I must've missed that in the instructions. Took mine to Yello belly same night I put my 4.10s in lol.
