Am I the only one who would love if each character played more individually. Almost a mix of how they play bow and their adventure counterparts. They had their own abilities that didn't always rely on the other characters but could still perform these abilities as well. Shoulder buttons behind held along with other action buttons would do different team attacks. Which would open up even more. Example. Sonic lead. Right shoulder button would cause knuckles to launch him. On the ground it would be like the rocket boost, in the air the power dunk but since you're sonic you can continue the move with successive homing attacks. As knuckles, sonic can spin toss you?? Kinda like they do in the show and knuckles will glide/drill through enemies. Tougher enemies taking higher amounts of damage. No level up system. Single person attacks do the least amount of damage and 2 person attacks do more and all 3 of course do the most. Idk I've always had this type of idea since I first played the game.

In Sonic Heroes I like to create my own personal goals so I have something to do after the game. Like defeat all Eggman Robots(including Super Hard Mode) or Collect every ring. I also do this in other sonic games like SA, SA2, Shadow The Hedgehog and the Genesis Classics. I even do it in Sonic World.
I loved this game so much, I beaten Super Hard Mode so many times. I would LOOOOOOOVE this challenge. I just wished they had a Super Hard Mode for my Team Chaotix. (It'd be nice to see more of them in future upcoming Sonic games.)
I'd like to see sonic heroes again at some point. The game play was fun and all, but the controls were fucking nuts. I wish there were more enemy variety, as fighting the same fucking enemies gets annoying especially if they rack on health.
The thing about sonic heroes is is that all the gameplay is just a series of colour coded tasks: homing attack this, fly over here, destroy the same enemy types. None of which is hard and none can even be scaled up to be harder . The difficulty mods just increase the density of the same 3 tasks again and again. Compare this to the way that platform ing difficulty can scale nicely in the Mario galaxy games. There’s something fundamnetally unsatisfying about sonic heroes.
Sonic heroes needs a movement overhaul mod. The fact that the Fly characters flight halts momentum to slower than walking pace is horrific design choice: why not make your momentum carry, so you can boost off with the Speed and transition to Fly to get a lengthened flight range? And the Powers gliding also slows us to walking pace, why? Also I would enable character changing in modair to increase flow

I love the fact that its not just using glitch to go through the entire level, you ACTUALLY play, fight necessary enemies and complete some puzzles
The most "brutal" thing is that you don't have random rings for you to pick up, its all in a few scattered boxes
