Ukrainian skies are being constantly assaulted by Russian barrages, so traveling by air is not smart (MH17-incident was foreshadowing). So "Iron Diplomacy" is the smart option. Russia wouldn't dare attack by the Polish border when world leaders visit. If they assassinate a NATO head of state, that's a declaration of war with the Alliance. The Kremlin is crazy but even they don't want WW3. (It's still smart to minimize risks while traveling on trains, tho.)

am i watching a trailer for the next james bond? never seen anything more evil villain like, than this.
Who else read the title as "How Kim Jong Untravels" Instead of "How Kim Jong Un travels" I was like WTF is untravelling? 😂
i read it like this too 🤣
i felt like an James Bond before going to mission
This would be an amazing Goldeneye 64 mission
Another banger upload fern! You remind me of LEMMiNO quite alot
Its sad that it takes you probably weeks to model and edit this video just for someone to screen record it and post it on tik tok with no credit.
"singers" who "serenade" the great leader personally. Yes, I'm sure that's what they are doing!
The irony that now a country that relied on the other for surplus military ammo and weapons now begs the other for the same thing does not go over my head at all and is pretty funny
Just imagine you are the loco pilot of this train....
ah yes, you know your leader is respectable when he gets a train with more food than entire cities under his rule...
Like which ones, specifically?
@@connorscanlan2167 I don’t specifics matter when 60% of the population are well below the poverty line
@@Kmart_RegularOkay, so we've gone from "entire cities have less food than his train," to "Well, technically much of the country is under the arbitrarily established poverty line." Cool.
I guess all leaders that have more luxury than the poorest in their country are bad.
Guys watch out this dude might be North Korean government official trying to glorify a dictatorship
Short, yet informative. Loved it!
Shocking how he gets to travel but his citizens are excluded 😮
Also obviously eats like a 🐖 while the ppl starve
Does anyone else get Final Fantasy 8 vibes from these renders? I want to see the plucky group of rebels running across the top and detaching carriages so that they can attach the presidential carriage onto their own locomotive.
On that note, is the train line really just a single track (i.e. one-way) as it's represented here?
Thumbnail is next level! Caught my attention
Thank you for elaborating this well 🙌
very interesting topic, thanks fern!
How you know after 1 minute?
@@extuceistdoof1438 cause i saw the title
A 2 day journey is about 50 hours. For 1000km, that implies an average speed of only 20km/h.
You probably wouldn't want to go much faster on North Korean or Russian rails, particularly with a heavy armored train pulled by some ancient engine.
Im not sure if this is some kind of trolling or just insane stupidity.
@@Defort-jd8xe It's normally referred to as maths, 1000/50 = 20.
I'm not saying going 20km/h is a bad thing, it's probably to give the security team time to check the tracks ahead. After all, if I were Kim, I wouldn't trust Vlad to not assassinate me.
Only the cameraman lived to tell this story
I love your videos! If I could make a suggestion, I would add some sort of closing. The amount of times I’m watching or listening to one of your videos and I think My phone or internet is glitching, just bc the video stops so abruptly. You guys do such an awesome job and I love your content! Just a thought!
so is Simplicissimus the german version?
Imagine your country's symbol of power is a literal train
To be fair it’s a very badass train
Kim can fit in a helicopter?
one of my favorite things someone said about him was "if your people worship you so much and love you so much then why do you need all that security in your own land".
The space between un and travel is doing all the heavy lifting of this video
If this is top secret why do we knw wats on his train🤔
Fun video but you missed out the most impotant bit of the train journey! They have to change the entire train's wheel guage at the Korean border (lool)
was wondering if NK and russia have the same guage. russia is wide for heavy trains. that's why trains can't just drive from poland into ukraine easily.
