- T.J. Watt has had a historic 2021 season, tying the NFL's official sack record, despite missing multiple games and chunks of others. Yet, if you peruse NFL Twitter at all, you might assume he's not even in the race for DPOY. The analytics community has pushed back too far against sacks.

TJ got 22.5 Sacks I don't care about win rate, you don't get 22.5 sack not being dominate. It's just a dumb argument. It's like saying a reciever with a high yards per catch average is a better reciever.
Great video I been loosing my mind arguing with idiots trying to downplay Watts historical season, they act like the only thing he does is get sacks and clean up sacks at that, if you get 22.5 sacks a few are going to be clean up sacks lol and they barley ever mention the pass deflections, forced fumbles, TFLs, and amount of game changing/winning he has he leads the league in 4th quarter/OT sacks and drug a steelers team to the playoffs that probably has no business being there just look at their record without him
Edit: and all the reasoning people having been using trying to downplay him make little to no sense its incredible how bias some people are, the argument that myles Garrett is better because of having the most pass rush reps won without a pressure is the most brain dead take ever 🤣

@@MikeKennedyNFL same man lmao.. this is the first year I've really payed attention to PFF grades and that Pff guy is extremely bias towards/against certain players idk if it's just him or what but they also left Aaron Rodgers not just Tj off their all pro list.. and they gave myles Garrett one of the highest scores I've ever seen for a 1sack game against the steelers and gave the Rookie Tackle who held him to just one sack a literal score of zero/0 lmao
72 sacks in his first five seasons (only 2.5 off the mark J.J. set in his first four years). Absolutely elite.
How many more elite years does he need for HOF consideration?
@@MikeKennedyNFL Honestly, two? Even at just ten sacks a year that would put him at 92 total. He already has as many 1st Team All-Pro selections as Von Miller. He just needs to one or two more All-Pro years to seal the deal for me.

Von has as many First-Team All-Pro seasons as Ed does *Pro Bowl* seasons. Stop it.
The NFL was probably a much better league before PFF and all the other behind the scenes stats they created
I would say I like alot of the more advanced stats like qb hits and the difference between batted balls and passes defensed but I hate stats like PR win rate and pressures which are up to the opinion of the recorder and not up to any official boundaries
At this point I just come to the conclusion they don’t like watt regardless of what he does 🤷♂️🤣🤣 either that or they just dislike the Steelers 😂😂 or both
I always hate to be the tinfoil hat-wearing Steelers fan, but at this point, it’s hard to come up with anything else 😭

It’s strictly the Steelers. if TJ played for any other team, they would not be trying to argue against him.
I wouldn't have imagined coming into this video that the accompanying music would be Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy remixes, but you have good taste. Not only that but KH menu sfx.
Also... if someone is trying to make an argument on the basis that Ben is a bad qb, they're automatically losing that argument. Even this last year, as bad as he looked compared to his past, he actually still did pretty decent.
Being the only content creator to combine the NFL with Kingdom Hearts & Final Fantasy is what I pride myself on 😎
And I’ll say this about Ben - he was horribly inefficient in 2021 and could hardly throw the ball down the field… but he was still one of the most clutch players in the league so I’d take him over a handful of the QBs who may have been more efficient on a play-by-play basis.
He also led the league in TFLs
TJ dominates in every statistical category over MG. Should of been DPOY IN 2020

During the NFL Honors award show, which airs the Thursday before the Super Bowl.
The same people will say FJB is a good president…
