I love huf I’ve been watching him since high school I’m a usc and niner fan and seeing him get exposure and being a team favorite makes me so happy for him and I’m exited to see him flourish in the league
Great to see you finally get a chance to spotlight a 49er. Hufanga has been ridiculous thus far, and his presence has really boosted the profile of an already good defense. He's really looking like Ronnie Lott or Troy Polamalu out there. All of them fittingly went to USC, which is great. I hope he becomes an all-time 49er.

This guy quickly became my new favorite player. It’s not just his skills. He’s such a down to earth happy guy who isn’t full of himself even though he could be. So exited to watch him play and really happy he is on my team.
I’ve been in love with him ever since I saw him trotting through the snow covered end zone with the blocked punt in that Green Bay game last year.
I liked him at usc but that play right there made me a bigger fan forsure dude is a monster

I went to Santiam Christian with talanoa. He was always a really good respectful kid and kind yet aggressive on the football field! I am glad to see him in the nfl doing what he loves
I went to crescent valley high with him a few years and knew he was good at football but didnt realise he was this good lmao
Welcome to the club, for all of us who are also USC trojans fans and knew that the projections coming out of college, were done by the east coast bias ( sec loving ESPN ) and did not represent his skills
We knew he had a first-round quality all along, I was just happy that my 49ers pick him up.
The Tongan sensation is real. Hopefully he can stay healthy to have a successful career like Troy

Been watching this kid played since he was with USC. You can tell he's a legit safety. 49ers got lucky with him dropped to 5th round.
What I love most.a 3 safety set with gipson ward and hufunga. Ward and hufanga can play slot and can blitz with them both towards the box. No QB will know who's blitzing.

Man listen when we drafted Huf I went and looked at his highlight tape and it Was AMAZINGGGGGG but I seen his combine numbers and thought it was not gonna translate but boyyyy was I wrong and I’m so happy about it 😂

When you watch the 9ers play he stands out on defense. 9ers got themselves one.
Hufanga is so good, even his name is fun to shout. Lynch and Shanahan make a few draft blunders, but they certainly hit big a lot of times; Hufanga, Little, Aiyuke, Warner, Deebo.
Lynch knows what he’s doing. He knows have to draft gems on defense.

Scouts did the same thing with Chris Borland. Teams need to focus a bit more on production in college as apposed to 40 times. Good players make up for physical shortcomings with game intelligence, technique.

I believe he is simply an apt student of the Hall of Famer, Troy Polamalu. So far, so good.
Also as a Steeler fan we picked up Mika Fitzpatrick a couple of years ago no I'm sure Mika does his job well and is very good player and he kind of fits the free safety roll more than the strong safety role make a sand touchdowns and some big interceptions and some fumble returns for touchdowns it might be one of the better safeties in the league I don't know but I'm more a fan of hufanga because I like that skill-set what he brings because I've seen it before

Im of the mindset troy polamalu is the best football player ive ever watched..going back to 1990..ive ever seen ..maybe rod woodson rivals...like ivsaid about hufanga..every week..he did lol things no one else could even think of..i preferred watching the defense..find troy and be entertained. Tazmanian troy once once in a lifetime..except now higanga apoears to have that skillset..im a fan..and look forward to seeing him on opening day..tho troy was a bit faster!!
