The op-op fruit only becomes available every now and then, and you have to give it to a slave and train them up to be able to perform the operation. After the operation's done? The fruit reappears somewhere in the world and might not be found by the government again for decades, or even centuries, so only a few celestial dragons have been made immortal at all.
I'm surprised Tekking didn't do a "I sorta called that shit" dance, because Ju Peter can be linked to Sanji with the whole agriculture thing, and Tekking always calls him "Sanji's uncle"
Curious, anyone happen to know what the Japanese fan base was calling each individual Gorosei member? It would be funny AF if Japanese fans were also calling this Guy "Sanji's Uncle" or referring to "Samurai Gandhi"

If the Gorosei are indeed beings that have their lifespans prolonged via Imu or cloning, I have the general feeling Peter was the vain narcissist of the group and wanted to retain his vitality/youth because he didn’t want to be a geese while the others were pragmatic in being old to avoid suspicions.
If anyone is going to be targeted for the possibility of them being around from the void century- Peter is going to be the obvious screw up from his looks alone.

The theory on if the Gorosei were around since the void century completely falls apart when you look at the power hierarchy. The reason Imu is on top is because the they’ve been around over 800 years, a member of the original 20 overrules their descendants. If the Gorosei were as old, they’d be on the same level, not subservient to Imu.

I think that it is possible that vegapunks “weapon” is similar to what brainiac did to a portion of krypton. Shrunk it and relocated it. Which would make it a weapon for peace. The world government just doesn’t know it yet.
The Gorosei could still be immortal... but did not receive the surgery until well after the void century. They could be variably some hundreds of years old or any amount something less than 800. The oldest looking (Ethan) might actually be the youngest, only having received the surgery a few decades ago... this could be one explanation for why his weapon is something crafted only relatively recently.
I am glad Tekking brought up the Kanji for 10 in Ju Peter's name. Of course, the obvious Jupiter pun is there, but contextually, it should translate to Tenth Peter, or Peter the 10th, similar to many IRL rulers over the years. Same with X Drake, honestly, he's Drake the 10th!

With the food resources being destroyed I can see the Red Port having their food supplies taken in order to feed the Celestial Dragons causing both sides of the Red Port to rebel cutting the world nobles off and making Dragon's job a little bit easier.

Considering Peter looks like British monarch George the V I think that St. Peter is a member of the Ageis Kingdom currently ruled by King Tea as the Ageis Kingdom is the One Piece counterpart to England or that St. Peter belongs to the royal family of the Rommel Kingdom the kingdom that Hakuba attacked that too looks like the UK.
I'm not sure if Tekking is just messing around, or if he has legit forgotten that One Piece follows the Japanese naming style, so Ethan, Shephard, Jay, or Jaygarcia, etc, is not their first names, but their family names.

Like Saturn or Marcus, who are the older ones, with their grandchildren and some like that, since they are this evil dudes but still cares about their regular families in the city.
Am I the only one who thought that Ju Peter looks like Heidi's Grandpa at an earlier age? As far as I remember he had a few goats and you could argue he's a shepherd (although he did some woodwork too if I remember correctly). And don't forget that in that show the kid's name who was taking care of the goats was Peter. Is that a coincidence? Probably.

I’m just wondering, is this the guy who have the order for in Robin’s flashback for Clover to be shot & the Buster Call attack to begin during the destruction of Ohara? In that scene, there are panels which show The Five Elders in silhouettes and, while it’s not made clear on who’s speaking on the Den Den Mushi, just before the Buster Call attack begins there is a silhouette of a man holding his head (as if he’s not happy about the decision) while he gives the order for the attack to begin. A clear sign of an inner conflict
