YOU ARE A TRUE LIVES SAVER , MAY GOD BLESS U AND BLESS UR WORK TOO. THANK U SO MUCH SIR, I SUFFERED 3 YEARS FROM COAGULATION AND NOW EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE, GOOD LUCK AND WISH U THE BEST IN WORK AND LIFE!.
Aspirin is contraindicated in young people ( below 16 ) as it may cause Reye's syndrome( swelling of liver and brain) . Though the chance is very low there are other safer analgesics. So it is avoided.
If there is bernard soulier syndrome and platelets can not adhere to the VWF..so there is no platelet aggression and platelet plug. So there is no fibrinogen incorporation as well right? my question is as there is no platelet plug and incorporated fibrinogen how can there be a secondary hemothesis? and isn't it going to lead to deep tissue bleedings as well?
You make the absolute best hematology videos out there. I might just be able to pass the oncology & hematology block exam with at least a 50% (studying oncology without lectures is a blast)🤞
I am so thankful to God that let you think to establish medical TH-cam channel . Just imagine the life of medical students and medical laboratory students and lab scientists with out you .
at 4.29 you said, more megakaryocytes will be produced. afterward, you said in its disease thee will be thrombocytopenia... I can't get it. please clarify
Nice video... Thanks... One question... You said in previous "RIPA" video, PLT aggregatometry measures plt aggregation & by extension adhesion & activation... So an adhesion disorder like BSS, should have abnormal PLT aggregatometry values.. isn't...? Kindly explain... Thanks in advance... BTW, the graphs are PLT aggregatometry.. Graph 1 : normal Graph 2 : Storage pool disease Graph 3 : BSS IF my answer is correct, then BSS has abnormal PLT aggregatometry... right ?
Thank you for the information. My son (3 years) has the same problem "syndrome de bernard soulier". His platelets counts are very less. Is there any treatment for this disease?

'why' are platelets large in BS?
Reye Syndrome is the reason we don’t give aspirin to young people.
Off topic but can you do a video on the signs/symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of Psoriatic arthritis?😊
Sure
Medicosis Perfectionalis AWESOME!!! 😊

You ALMOST have 230k subs. Too bad it didn't happen for May 30th as you wanted!😫
It’s ok...Thank you so much, dear!
Your comment means more to me :)
Ok , no aspirin is given in young patients because of the risk of developing reye's syndrome which is fatal in children.
True!
