    I would like to request a video concerning the recall safes for snapshots. Some of the categories are self-explanatory (faders, sends, etc.) But some are not so obvious. For example, I have several snapshots for the service set up and now the bass player wants an EQ change to his ears. Which of the categories would protect that change when I recall the snapshots? Great job with these Guillaume!

      Hi Dale !
      i’m not in front of my console but form the top of my head, if you select a channel and EQ setting to be or not recalled for scene change you can make that happen. it would require son testing but that what i would be looking for

    Thanks for the Video Again. When u setup a Reverb or delay on the budusaranai channel, where does it makes more sence to setup on the channel strip of the bus? Pre or Post fader? and can u plz explain the difference in practical use? Thanks

    • @GuillaumeLortie

      To send onto a monitor / IEM mix, pre fader, or even pre compressor. That why the band still hear there dynamics but you can reduce them at FOH

      @@GuillaumeLortie Hi thanks for the Reply. But my question is .. there are 2 insert slots in the Bus itself, one is pre and other one is postfader. Which insert slot shall i use to rout the effect in the Bus?

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@livemixpriyan always use the second fx insert for time base effect, like reverb, chorus and delay

    Hi Guillaume, thank for that video. it is a great one - very helpful. (I was waiting for it few weeks).
    I still have one issue I'm not sure about.
    If the singer ask to add to her guitar more lows in the monitor, but I don't want to change anything in her vocal. Adding more lows in the 3 band EQ will effect all the channels of that bus. (guitar and vocal). How can I add lows only to the guitar and only in the monitor (without changing anything in the PA)
    Thanks a lot, Niv.

      Hi Niv !
      the 3 band eq is for the Channel send, in your example, it would affect the guitar EQ in the Bus Send for every Bus, this is not a Bus EQ that will affect everything you send in that bus.

    Why didn't Behringer implement bus mode "Pre fader" ? This would make setting up a simple IEM much easier instead of setting the tap point for each channel individual.

      Hi 👋
      It’s seems like most people mix IEM pre compressor went doing both FOH and Monitors.
      It’s all a matter of mixing approach

    Is a post-fader or post-insert2 sent to the subgroup? Please tell me, it's very important! I will be working from this console in a few days

    Love the channel... i have a question for you... i accidentally used my premium effects slots for standard ones... I am trying to copy and paste the effects to different slots but it is not working out for me... If you are familiar with this it would be very helpful

      Hi Patrick !
      you can Save your effect preset in the Library and reload them as needed.
      that’s the way i would work this out : save all your effect with different names and reload them in the standard page.
      hope that helps , good luck !

    Hi Guillaume we have the Wing and a S16... can I send a stereo bus from the Wing console to the S16?
    The S16 has 8 outputs are they stereo or mono ?
    Can I expect to have 8 stereo busses sent through Aes50 using the S16 at the other end for 8 stereo IEM stereo mixes?
    The wing is only showing me left or right as an option
    Thank you from Montreal

    • @GuillaumeLortie
      @GuillaumeLortie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bonjour Christian!
      You need 2 physical XLR ( L & R ) for stereo mix. To make 8 stereo pair, you need 16 XLR outputs. The S16 only has 8, that limit you to 4 stereo mix.
      You can use your 16 local outputs ( XLR & TRS ) to get to 8 stereo mix with your S16.

    • @christianfrappier
      @christianfrappier 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Merci Guillaume, it's true I could use the 8 aux (trs) for to create 4 stereos (and find a way to send them to the stage) and the 8 on the S16 to have in total 8 stereo mixes.
