That is a really good looking boot everything on the boot was done with exceptional American craftsmanship and it shows really well on this boot we need more American made boots on the market and I think that in the near future we’ll start seeing more and more American made boots on the market it seems like it’s an iconic idea that’s starting to come back in popularity in market place for goods in this country and I think that it should’ve always been popular
Excellent review although I would put in a word of caution. If your shopping on Amazon make sure you use the word "Heritage" when you're doing your search. Golden Fox also sells a cheaper pair ($75 vs $160 as of Sept. 2019) that aren't made in the USA. The Chinese made pair have a rivet where the instep attaches to the laces and extra padding around the collar. I can't tell whether the leather or the soles are different than the Heritage but for less that half the price I would assume they are poorer quality.

I bought a new pair off of eBay for $ 39.00. I got very lucky with this price. They ran around 80.00 on Amazon. I love these boots. I have gotten a lot of compliments from guys and women.I was looking for a pair of moc toes that were lightweight but strong enough to last a while, but I wanted them for fashion, not work. I wear them quite often more than I wear my Thursdays captain. The pros are lightweight but solid , very comfortable after a couple of days wear, they go very well with jeans and chinos. I don't know how well they will do for work, but I am willing to bet they will be great. I would condition them before you wear them for added protection. Now the cons the factory insoles are very thin and lose. I had to add another insoles plus factory insoles, these kind of run big I wear 9.5 boot. I have a pair of golden fox boondocker that are 9.5 that fit like 10. I have to wear thick socks so my feet don't slide the moc toe is a 9, still a little big, but with the extra insoles, they fit just right . The bottom line is very good at this price point of 89.00 bucks for a great look and feel 👍 😀 I'm going to buy two more pairs in black and dark brown.

I have the 6" Plain Toe Wedge Boot and they are comfortable. They do run a little big but with a good pair on insoles that fixes the issue. I don’t feel I need $300 boots to be comfortable.

The only ones I'm seeing are the OG600M-E (Redwood) and the OG621M (Brun). I actually liked the ones you were wearing a tad more because they did not have the stitching on the sides (supple leather - threads - price = one kick-ass boot).
The one Golden Fox have on their website looks different from the one you reviewed. Their new arrival heritage boots has rivets on both side. Yours do not have them -which looks better. Can you provide a link to purchase?

Since I have to be out in the field working to support the whole family 52 hours a week . I rely on the community app to show me all the new comments and Questions. If it turns out to a Lite day it's only 85-100 Questions I received. And most are not even Questions. Just grown men lashing out trying to blow off some steam. Not a big deal there. But,I do weed thru them all. When Some asks a real question. Sizing, work place safety or personal comfort out in the field. I give them top priority since I can empathize with their problem. Now If it's a heavy day of Questions like this past weekend 362 just on Saturday alone. There's no way I can even try to do that. No they have both. And these are made in America, Ontario California to be exact. I live less then an hour from there wearhouse. And I'm wearing the made in China ones right now and there still a damn good boot. Wear them to work as a concert worker everyday and they are great.

Just popped a pair of these on the Black Friday sale, for $120 (down from $200). Can't beat that for an american made boot.

you didn't get the US made version at that price. They run >$200 on Amazon. The chinese made boot is what you have.

Its a heratige style boot thats how, they dont say that its made the same way as it was 80 years ago.
It has been years since I've had a leather foot bed, but if i remember correctly, they eventually break in perfectly and are extremely comfortable
