Bought a pair about a month ago, treated them with sno-seal, absolutely perfect. Went out crabbing with a friend and the water didn't soak into the leather at all, just sat right on top and dried off nice and easy. Any scuffs fade away and give it a great look and the creases from walking have only given it more personality. Couldn't be happier having only spent $100 on Amazon, highlky recommended.

My Nike sneakers were 11.5 M. My Thursday boots are 11 M so I ordered these in 11 M and they fit very well. Most of my leather shoes are also 11. I would say they are a true fit. I wound up putting a pair of memory foam insoles in these boots and they are really proving to be a good boot.
That leather looks almost exactly like "Apache Leather". I have a pair of Tony Lama USA cowboy boots and Chippewa USA boots similar to this. I like it a lot and may consider getting a pair of these too.

I have the Golden fox workboot chukka and a collection of heritage redwings , and can tell you the quality is on par if not better the leather is top quality as is build quality, the boondockers are next in my collection.
Are you serious? I have these boondockers and the equivalent redwings. The golden foxes are good and comfortable for the price but to say they're anywhere near the quality of redwings is batshit insane. They're not even in the same universe.

The Golden's are wider through the arch which makes them much more comfortable outve the box, also there's about half the amount of leather that needs broken in on the Golden's. I'd go with the same size as your redwings.
Mine came via Amazon about an hour ago. I always wear a size 9D shoe. But I ordered a 8.5D and they fit very well. I also ordered the 9D and they were too roomy. Those are being returned. I'm wearing them around the house right now and they feel very good. The tag says "Made in China". I struggled with that for a while but simply couldn't justify another $200 for "made in the USA". These are for knock around - not work. So I'll save that money for my next pair of Carmina dress shoes - those are for the office. Thanks for your video.

I tried the timberland pro sole but it was waayyyy to tall. almost couldnt even get my foot into the boot.
I was never really a boot guy but i was thinking about getting a pair for myself for my birthday. I don't want to buy an expensive boot just in case I don't really like the style on myself but I don't want to buy anything that looks too cheap or tacky. This looks like the perfect compromise for me

Hey man! New to the channel and i love it! I just started in a construction job. I wear wolverine pull ups steel toe. To me they seem a little too much for what I’m doing. They are a great boot but i don’t want anything that high and “bulky”. Have any suggestions? Plus any pants and shirts you recommend through the summer?!
Red Wing 606, or the steel toe version of it 604 if you need it. Dickies carpenter jeans are the cheapest and last the longest. They run $24 -$28 typically. Shirts are strictly personal preference. I wear Dickies uniform shirts in the cold and moderate weather with a t-shirt underneath. In the hot summer anything other than a regular t-shirt is way too hot. If you want a good all around boot that is cheap, holds up extremely well and is very comfortable, it's hard to beat a Bates 2250 Desert Warrior. They run less than $110 and can be had on sale for as low as $79 -$89. I've beat the shit out of 3 pairs of those and can vouch for their comfort and durability for that low price-point.
Both are light and slimmed down boots for when you have to move fast and frequently. Just got my pair yesterday. Sadly my color option were limited for size 13. Mine are a sort of soft, not shiny, almost milk chocolate brown, with a sole like yours. They might even be the same ones. What would you recommend using to help protect it that won't darken it too much.
They don’t make a wide. Maybe its crafted in a general shoe sizes, rather than narrow heritage sizes. Never did make sense to me. I don’t wear a wide chuck taylor or vans slip on, but for some reason I’m wide redwing.
i have wide feet 4 & 3/4"at the widest part and these fit a treat with no pinching i just ordered my normal shoe size .id say they are more of a EE width than D. plus they will soften up the more you wear.

Believe me , Golden fox are not cheap and tacky, and on a par with redwings for half the price.
