Before knowing BBC Learning English, I have had a stint studying english in school. I firmly believe I have a very sharp mind which has been working really hard to keep my stupidity at bay.

Exercise is essential for brain and body health. I was always told to imagine exercise as being the vehicle that carries fuel to all the parts (stations) of the body. Without exercise, the brain doesn't get enough 'deliveries'.
My teacher used to say : "If you want to achieve sharp intellectual mind, you have to keep minor details at bay, instead, have a long stint practicing how to target important information "
I have been long time to practice my listening skills with BBC . Today is the first day for listening without subtitles. My listening skill is better I can understand what you are talking. I really thank you BBC

To develop a sharp brain to solve any academic English tests, I need to exercise it more by listening, reading, speaking and writing in English, it's a good way to surround myself with the language I am learning. But the most important of all is to keep my laziness at bay and practice daily, not just a stint.
I heard about this channel before a one week. i have seen four videos of this channel but in each videos i get many of the new words and learnt many of the interesting facts.

Great one! It's nice to see your videos because we can learn other vocabulary that are not the main ones, like: - Hay fever: an illness like a cold, caused by pollen. - Wit: the ability to use words in a clever and humorous way. - Sharp-witted: intelligent and alert. - Blunt: A blunt pencil, knife, etc. is not sharp and therefore not able to write, cut, etc. well. - Dull: a person who isn't sharp-minded. - to bay: (of dogs and wolves) to make a long, deep cry repeatedly. - Antihistamine tablets: are drugs which treat allergic rhinitis, common cold, influenza, and other allergies. - Echinacea: Echinacea is a flowering plant that grows in the U.S. and Canada. It is also called coneflower. It is a member of the daisy family of plants. Echinacea has been a popular herbal remedy for centuries. Today, it is often used to prevent or treat viruses that cause colds, sore throats, or the flu.
