I had a Vulture variant I came up with, abnormal for the Vulture this one needed to be inside 360 meters. 4 medium pulse lasers + targeting computer to try to open up armor in the chosen spot (usually right torso), then 4 streak 6-packs to crit them to death. It only heated if all streaks hit and you moved. I murderized a Victim, er, Victor. :D
My BSK-1 runs dual thunder 20's , 2er larges and three er meds. I love it. the cycle time on missiles is great. Interesting to see it with the dakka instead of lasers.

What do you guys think if the Devs experimented in adding Cannon fodder AI controlled mechs. Like a lance or two, with under equipped weapons and armor. To pad out the battle field. And the AI have several ways they could play. Based on their mechs, their weapons, and what mechs and weapons are in their lance of 4 mechs. So AI mechs don’t do the same thing every time. Yet can be worked with and be predictable for their allies.
They have an issue with server hit reg with 12v12 and judging on your comment you've never played MechWarrior 5 because the AI is so horrible peope are actively modding it themselves l just don't think It would really be possible with this game as it currently stands.
This made me think. Is there a charge version of energy weapons in lore? For example a PPC type. That charges up like a guess rifle cannon, once charged it fires 3 projectiles. Uncharged or mini charge it fires just 1. And Is there any energy weapon that would use the jam chance reduction perk in lore?
Sort of. There are PPC capacitors that can, if you don't shoot the pcc for a turn, charge up extra energy. Then, when the capacitor is charged, you shoot the pcc and it does an extra 5 damage. They also generate 5 extra heat while charging, holding the charge, or discharging. Each capacitor is one ton and one crit slot and you need one for each PPC you want affected, much like Artemis IV for missiles. In MWO terms they'd be PPCs of any type with half the fire rate that generate more heat and do more damage per shot. Light ppcs double heat and damage, standard er and snubnose ppcs +50% heat and damage, heavy and clan er ppcs +33% heat and damage.
Look, I love the Bull Shark, and I love HBS BattleTech, it's the BEST BattleTech/Mechwarrior Video Game out there... But, the Bull Shark should NOT be in MWO, especially with the ridiculous hardpoints the 6 Variants have, 6! The Rarest ONE OFF Mech in the Inner Sphere now has 6 Variants?! COME ON!! I know PGI doesn't give a Rats Fig about Canon, clearly, but We couldn't get some great Canon Mechs instead? King Fisher or Turkina for Clanners, since people have been asking for them? Maybe the Pillager or Gallowglass for the Inner Sphere? Also, ANOTHER feckin' Assault Class?!! COME ON!! Not to mention the already incredibly Lame Legendary Mechs... PGI is a terrible developer... I miss when MWO was good...
I mean, I enjoy the new content. It's better than letting the game sit and rot. Has a good dev team, and someone who puts their heart into things. Hell, we even have new weapons.
So glad to see it appear in more battletech related content and not be only be present in the btech turnbased game. Such a cool design!

I've been asking for them to put a second 95 ton clan mech in the game for so long. I'm so happy with the Bullsharks.
The Mako is pretty good.
The 4 does the Scorch build better than the Scorch. It's an absolute brawling terror.

Bullshark is the best mech they have added in years. It is so versatile. You can do anything you want with it.
I want to get some Bullsharks, I love how they look, so chonky. Remind me a lot of FF7's Guard Scorpion's torso.

i think they should add orbital bombardment to the artillery strike options. it would help with imbalance and make it more(to kill sharks....)fun.
