OMG! That first game was crazy. The beam lasers seem pretty bad. Not a great weapon system, but the light machine guns and good maneuvering allowed such a crazy comeback vs very damaged enemies.
Might have to bring out one of my Dire Wolves. Got 6 Beam Lasers on one. Tested 12 Plasma Cannons once. (SPOILERS: It's not the return of the Direstar...)
Your evil clone at the end there out-damaged you and his whole team (not all together). That must have been frustrating for him. I love the Incubus. It's such a versatile chassis that I think a lot of people sleep on.
I dunno if yall ever played the MekTek version of MW4, but they added continuous beam lasers and they were DEVESTATING. Yea, they ran hot, but they had like 900 meters range and would melt through armour, especially if you had a bunch on the mech
Always fun seeing your own mech in a video. Pulled a few games in a row while you were running the Incubus, its survivability always surprises me, even when I run one.
The beam lasers seem bad. The venting time is just so punishing. Verrrry long! When they are critical (which is almost always) they have massive over-heating issues.
Great games! That seems to work pretty good. I feel like the beam lasers could do with starting their ramp down just a little bit quicker? They seem to stay up a long time.
I want to like the Beam Lasers, but they seem very bad. The main problem with them is that the time it takes for them to *start* ramping down is waaaaay too long, during which you don't really want to use them or risk toasting your mech, and the damage just isn't enough to compensate for the extended periods of downtime.
I've tested this in training grounds but cooldown actually helps after the beam lasers go up the red scale, it shaves off around 3 seconds cooling down
Yeah I just don’t know if I believe that that’s true. Even if it’s not SUPPOSED to affect it, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it, and it would make sense that it would affect it. That said, I don’t really care thaaaaat much about it (I don’t like the X pulse and Beam lasers)
@@jalakor I'm a potato pilot and do OK with the large X pulses. The beam lasers need some love/buffs. It seems only tier one pilots can make them work consistently.
This the kind setup I wanted to go for with Beam Lasers in having something to cool to shoot while the Beams cooldown. I've been trying to make builds like this for the Executioner Here's a couple using 3xBeam Laser 2xLBX10 and either 3xAP Gauss or 4xLighr Machine Guns. Don't know if they're any good or fully optimal. AMiL
Awesome comeback in the first game. When you got the kill to make it 3-and-7, I said "Cue the comeback".... sarcastically. But for once, it happened.
Incubus with beam lasers: "Hot Mech Hunter in your vacinity App"
And don’t forget it’s alternate name is the Vixen, meaning there’s hot foxes in your vicinity
Incubus? More like Optimus Prime... Rollout!
Holy Heck Balls that first match comeback! Nicely done, Sir!

that first game come back was epic
the comeback with the optimus prime cosplay👍

I love it too, I'm kind of a light mech guy all around. It was the first mech that turned me onto LMGs when I was new to the game.
Under 30% at the end of each fight. Your mech techs deserve a raise!
God that comeback in the first game is always worth the rewatch

Wow, just wow. That first game was amazingly played in the 2nd half!
Fun come-back!

I actually went \ o / watching this for that last kill.
That was awesome! Great little build and great turn-around play.
The same build with 2 heavy large lasers is absolutely savage for those who don’t enjoy staying in LOS long enough for the beams to add up.
Last game, two one-legged mechs in an ass-kicking contest.
Nice come back.
One hell of a game in that first round!
The beam lasers seem bad. The venting time is just so punishing. Verrrry long! When they are critical (which is almost always) they have massive over-heating issues.
That Incubus vs Incubus at the end!
The comeback on the first match was wild.
Fun competitive matches. Nice build.
The Optimus Prime paintjob and incubus vs incubus in the second match "One shall stand, One shall fall."
That first game was Baller!
Talk about a late game devil! Once every one's armor is weak, you just go in and mop up!
Great games! That seems to work pretty good. I feel like the beam lasers could do with starting their ramp down just a little bit quicker? They seem to stay up a long time.
I'm definitely noticing a difference in the time it takes for the beam lasers to start ramping down in this video compared to the blood asp video.
Old school tabletop player luv the vids
Incredible game
Epic comeback is epic!!!
Wow! That first game was amazing! It's games like that, that keep me playing.
*edit* Loved the Incubus on Incubus action for the final money shot!

Pls explain beam lasers damage range etc.
PGI has said that flamer vent does not affect the beam lasers
Yeah I just don’t know if I believe that that’s true. Even if it’s not SUPPOSED to affect it, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about it, and it would make sense that it would affect it. That said, I don’t really care thaaaaat much about it (I don’t like the X pulse and Beam lasers)
That's weird. I've heard other people test it and find that it does.

the next patch will improve the c beam lasers significantly
Enjoyed
Try a Mist Lynx C with single beam. Properly set up you can blaze for 90s before you overheat.
CLUTCH! wow!
I have fallen in that damn gap SOOOOO many times....(0.o) Least you caught yours!
What happened in that first game?
Rating.
Optimal priming.....
Would love to see a build that doesn't have the same weapon twice. A real kitchen sink build.
Calling this build cool should be a crime, that's clearly false advertising.
I see what you did there :)
