The thing that makes the SB Gauss work so well in the Grid Iron is the virtually non-existent charge-up time. It needs a lot of ammo, but it can make full use of it fairly easily.
The charge time is so low you have to re-learn the muscle memory to maximize the RoF. Baradul himself was keeping the charge a little bit too long even in raw DSP situation.
Why would you ever want that over say... 2 Light Gauss? Your build would be 3 more tons for 5 extra damage. That isn't even taking into account ammo either.
Build is interesting but I hate the charge up of the gauss. I wouldn't be against this charge up it if meant that the crit chance on the gauss was like 1/5 the chance if it was uncharged. I wanna left click to win dammnit!
I don't want to be that one guy, but I have to point this out: Matches in MWO are getting even more one sided than they used to be, and communication is way more scarce too.
Baradul quite often make builds which are fits the role of squishy second liners and are not focused by enemies. If this logic works, better strategy is to focus similar squishy backliners. Isn't it? )
5:59 - the SB Gauss hits the mech in the Back RT. Doesn't even penetrate through the foil on the back. Get another weapon that doesn't suck. 6:43 - completed 5 SB Gausss shots uncontested. Armor barely scratched as Thunderbolt gets a scan.
Why not use the improved zoom for this mech. You bias against it because you don't use it much hurts when you are sniping. You brawled most of the first game so it wouldn't of been as useful but you needed it in the second game.
If I could aim as good as Baradul I wouldn’t use the zoom either. He was hitting most of those long range shots while still keeping a full field of view. I think he has mentioned that it messes with his muscle memory in terms of moving his mouse?
Everyone has their strength and wraknesses. I think Baradul isn't the most skillful youtuber on MWO, but he is a good team player. Others for example TTB is very skillful, but they can be pretty selfish and not such good team players, especially when damage farming for scores. All are still entertaining to watch because they are all good at their own stuff. Don't let it get to you :)

Looks pretty cool too with the gun on the right and missile launcher on the left.
It still kind of messes with my brain to see a Clan Hunchie style weapon set up on an IS Hunchie.
Thanks for continuing with the MWO content!
The Grid Iron is one of my favorite mechs! Love to see it in action!
Rate of fire almost faster than the gauss charg up lol. Love it. Seems very fun.
Fresh Stone Rhino on your team at the end of a match, you hate to see it.
Dires on sniper spots seems like a map inventory nowadays
I'm gonna stay in second line, as soon as the game starts, he starts brawling.
HEY, I WAS THE TITANWAIFU HOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOVED TO PLAY WITH YOU THAT DAY
calm down
I love my GI that I've had for years and never run since it sucked... until now.
why it sucked? what did change?
Hi Baradul, nice Vid as usual :) But whe will u continue with Goblin Stone?? Not in the Mood for it anymore?
He was right, nice to see you back at the Game.
The SB Gauss syncs up well with the Light Gauss
I bought a GI specifically for the SBG once it came out.
Ooh, I also wanna try that SB Gauss + PPCs build on that Bull Shark. That thing looked nasty.
light 225 engine silver bullet with 5 tons of ammo, ams with half ton ammo AND 3 er med las way better then exploding mrm 20 with xl imho.
That's my loadout for it. Not being ammo dependent is much more useful.
Yeah, that makes the SB work.
(17:46) They also had a lance consisting entirely of some clan mates. So, they probably had a bit more cohesion? 🤷
Finally, he showcases my request.
The grid Iron is fun wether with a Silver Bullet-, a Heavy- or 2 Light Gauss Rifles.
As long as theres a Gauss in it, it works.
I wish the IS hunchies had some jump jets.
what about the protector as a bigger version?
@bara the Panther did over 600 damage too.
Trailer for MW5 Clans just dropped yo.
2 lite Gauss is fun too
That's what I run on mine. Love it.
It definitely is fun, but you need to min-max it a lot more. The SB does have the same cooldown rate.
I did this the day the sb gauss dropped its good fun
Pretty mech.
Another build for this is an SBG and a light guass combined.

im ashamed i didnt think to try this earlier

Nice
Great games Bara, would put CASE in your torso yave prevented an amo explosion?

its either you make your own premade team of steam friends or don't play at all, really.
@@sixmillionisimpossible I play solo and its the same it ever was
I played this game yeras ago for a bit and it's pretty much the same snowballing gameplay.
😎
Гаус это сила!)))
The "Skill" killed the Last Mech.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

It’s cool that Baradul has a weakness like that, it humanizes him.

Let Bara play how they want to, none like it when people back seat, when Bara has explained why he doesn't many times.
Same reason he avoids arm lock, years of play has solidified his playstyle and muscle memory that he plays worth with it

MWO is my least favorite content you put out. I still watch though. :P
