Thank you for this short but informative video. Im not convinced of it but hav even looking into and am open to conditional mortality and the annihilation view. I’ve enjoyed your Chanel too! If you see this please share what you think is the stronger scriptural evidence for and against annihilation. I’ve looked into it quite a bit and have watched various videos and read articles on it but I’d love to hear more of both sides!
G'day Kaitlyn :) We recently did a long form conversation with Chris Date (Annihilationist) and Jerry Walls (Traditionalist) on our channel. Feel free to have a listen th-cam.com/video/3ZQr-P35LK0/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for agreeing it’s not about being a good person. Having good thoughts 100% of the time is impossible. Perfection is an oxymoron because we all have different ideas of what is perfect.
Freewill is an illusion. Every model of science tells us so. Also, your god is either one of 2 things, a monster or an ignorant monster. You say he gave beings freewill. If he was a truly omniscient and omnipotent then he would know, that by giving being free will, it would mean that some of them would go to Hell. He set it up that way, instead of just gifting omniscience to everyone equally. So, since we know you can have no cause without effect, and all things are impermanent, what will happen when you and your god are in hell for sending beings there, and you for thinking he’s just for doing so?
Thanks for engaging, but your comment is full of assumptions / problems. (1) Omniscience is an incommunicable attribute. God cannot logically create finite creatures with infinite knowledge. (3) God having foreknowledge of human sin does not remove the reasoning for Him bestowing it on humanity. Granted, now you need to explain why God would allow humans to sin, but that has been answered by appeals to a dozen or so theodicies. (3) As for free will, scientific accounts (assuming naturalism) are by nature limited. Agent causation is an entirely plausible proposal to ground free will. Hope this clears up a few things.
@@qcsocials There's no problem with my statement. We have a free will to make our own choices. Therefore, we can't blame God for making bad choices. Crystal clear to me. Much of your retort is psychobabble nonsense dude.

If theirs weeping and gnashing of teeth that implies torture. Thanks for admitting it is not about doing what you can to be good. Actually, it’s inconclusive on a couple of fronts. First, even if it does imply physical pain (torture), as I shared in the video, that conscious suffering might just be for the duration of their death sentence being carried out (just like Jesus on the cross suffered in the process of dying). And second, gnashing of teeth is something the Jewish leaders do in response to Stephen’s preaching (Acts 7:54), and they certainly weren’t being tortured.

Totally agree with you, Dan! Thanks
Exactly, people send themselves there by denying the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus, as we have a free will.

@@icurededs Free will is not an illusion dude. The only illusion happening here, or should I say delusion, is your believing it's an illusion.
But man was perfect without the knowledge of evil before the temptation in the garden- how do you reconcile this with our free will to choose evil?
God doesn't send anyone to Hell, he just lets them choose it.
Who says outer darkness cant have fire? Who says fire cant be black? Jesus descriptions of hell are not open to our interpretation
At around 430 of this video he mentions murder rape ect as evil and neglects to call out god for commanding such things in the old testament
