I WOULD consider doing an update to this video, but I think that now seven years later in 2024, I'm probably missing at least half a dozen new 9mm Glock models! :-)

Even when you know it’s not loaded you still treat it like it is loaded. He “knew” the mags were unloaded and still kept everything pointed in a safe direction and his finger off the trigger. Exactly why good safe habits are a must, there’s no such thing as an accidental discharge only a negligent discharge.

Seeing the size comparison to the other guns and in comparison to your hand was very helpful. Some stores have that size chart but it's no where near as helpful as your video.

If you're pining for a 17L but cannot easily find one, Zaffiri Precision has an aftermarket barrel and slide. I believe G17, G34, and G17L are all interchangeable. I bought a G34 and got a Zaffiri rig to get me long and proud to 17L length.
The glock 26 & 27 are some of the best, and most dependable, firearms made for concealed carry. I know different people have different feelings about subcompact firearms. But for concealed carry, those models are amazing.
The 17L came out right about the same time as the 19. I remember in 1989 I was looking at a 19 and remember seeing 17L's. It may have been out slightly before the 19.
First off I would like to say that I enjoy all of your videos. I'm writing from Canada where our Prime minister is trying to take Law abiding Citizen's Guns away with a Bill called C-21. I just started working with a Global Security Company as an Armed Guard, and our standard issue firearm is an M17 Glock 9mm. As you probably know is very rare for a Civilian in our Country to own handguns unless you are RCMP or in the Military. Thank you for this very informative video.
As a CZ kinda guy, it would be great to see some comparisons between their main models (CZ75, P01, P07, CZ Match) to their equivalent in size/caliber Glocks. I just think thatd make for an interesting video. Thanks Hickok
First let me thank you Hickok45 for posting so many videos on so many different fire arms. I learned a lot from watching your videos. I finally bought my first fire arm and I went with the Glock 19, 9 m. While at the store I checked all the other models but the Glock 19 felt the most comfortable. Of course John the salesman took his time in explaining all the cons and pros with all the guns, including in telling that the Glock 19 does not have a safety lock, which I knew from your videos. I have yet to fire the Glock, not that I don't want too, but I have been going through some health issues. Here in the next week or two I'll be able to well let's just say have some fun. I bought my gun from Glick Twins Inc. in Mcallen Texas and I told John about your videos, he had great comments about your videos. Thanks again and keep posting!!
hickok45 algebra: Glock pistols + youtube videos = trolls and hate. I'm not in any way a glock fan, nor do I even own one. Still, this is a cool video! :-)
Hey Hickok. Just wanted to send a quick thanks for all the years of entertaining and informative videos. Congratulations on your success, and on your judicious relationships with sponsors who don't seem to be exerting undue influence. Most importantly, your work is important because it provides a realistic, positive presentation of firearms and the shooting sports. In a world where firearms are constantly presented with negative bias, the future of our 2nd Amendment rights lies in educating our youth on the positives of firearms ownership. You are, I believe, one of the most effective stewards of our firearm culture.

I went to a local gun shop just today, looking to get my first Glock.
Now, I'm closer to deciding which to both literally & figuratively pull the trigger on.

What did u decide on?
the camera planning over to the Colt had to be one of my favorite moments in this channel.
0:09 never underestimate an old mans shots😳
If you're pining for a 17L but cannot easily find one, Zaffiri Precision has an aftermarket barrel and slide. I believe G17, G34, and G17L are all interchangeable. I bought a G34 and got a Zaffiri rig to get me long and proud to 17L length.
Watching this video made my coffee taste even better this morning.
Read this as I was drinking my coffee. Couldn't agree more
Just built my glock 26 today and I love it
Fun, Informative, Knowledgeable, Practical, and Helpful.
Thank You.
Me: I don’t hav a gun
Also me: Let’s watch this anyways
My grandpa had a glock 9mm back in the day, thanks for making this vid
I'd been asking friends questions about guns...and glocks, and why they buy them. This video was VERY informative. Thank you!
The glock 26 & 27 are some of the best, and most dependable, firearms made for concealed carry.
I know different people have different feelings about subcompact firearms. But for concealed carry, those models are amazing.
Just don't forget what caliber you're using.
Dont ever mess with this dude !!!!🤣🤣
U buy him a beer wen he asks u n no arguments lol
I can not tell you how much I love this guy
It’s true and yes I liked my own comment
I love all the kind of guns, specially the Glock's, they are beautiful.
Just got a glock 17, always wanted one from watching your videos. Thanks for always showing them off!
Love the channel, helped me decide on my first Glock 👍🏻
The coolest elderly man right here
The 17L came out right about the same time as the 19.
“Different animal, it’s single stack” gotta love this man haha good content 🔫

The only channel I watch if I wanna learn about any weapons!👌😎👍
hickok45 algebra: Glock pistols + youtube videos = trolls and hate. I'm not in any way a glock fan, nor do I even own one. Still, this is a cool video! :-)
Love your videos, very etertaining... and educating! Keep it up!
Glock 17 is my favorite in my opinion. I like them all tho
