She is a very good teacher and explains each detail clearly with out rushing the steps 😃... Hope she does more exercises and methods! Chinese have a long history! 🔥⭕⭕🔥
This is an EXCELLENT version of the Northern Shaolin Longfist handset known as "Lian Bu Quan". In this video, I see a demonstration with accurate stance positions, "rootedness" without inhibiting the "Continuous Stepping", smooth coordination between the body parts and the step. Kathy Yang's performance is smooth and fluid... I first learned the Lian Bu Quan handset from a book by the Martial Artist known as Kam Yuen (from California) in his book called "Beginning Kung Fu" back in the 1980's. Some of the movements were a bit tough for me to get because the still photos don't show the "transitions" from one posture to the other. I could lean this set from Kathy Yang at this pace, and have another Kung Fu handset in my muscle-movement library... Thanks for posting this video, Kathy Yang!
I'm losing my mind right now on how exact the form was taught to me living in Fresno, California. Great job! Small things are slightly different but majority is dead on.
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I will be happy to break down a few movements. You can also learn this whole sequence with me in the weekly Kung Fu classes or from the video library. For more info: tcmtime.com
