Myke C-Town: "That does not negate the fact that the first half of the album was written for Nintendo" Kinge: -------------- BODYBAG!!!!!!!!! I love you guys. Wildly entertaining!!!
Ken really got them on this one. Ken's the best at setting others up. He clearly knew what he was saying, he was just luring them into a trap to either get them angry because they disagreed with him or simply because he knew he could. I'm not saying he was right or that they were right, I'm just saying that Ken set them up in the video. Notice how Feefo picked up on it near the end of the video. Since this, Ken's been setting them up a lot. Kinda hilarious when you think about it. Listening to the album now with all of today's current hip-hop, the album sounds way ahead of it's time.
Please don't rob us of classic reviews like this LOL. Modest if there's any reviews in the vault we the DEHH faithful have yet to see, PLEASE RELEASE THEM SHITS!
This is why I loved DEHH. It was contrasting opinions and people debating over how they view music. Now it just seems like everybody either agrees with each other or censors themselves. It's still a good show but it isn't the way it was.
i actually love this video, the much more aggressive review style (in my opinion there more friendly in newer vids), the camera up really close in the face, being outdoors and Myke retro look. Flipping, fucking awesome
Kinge was actually right this time. Most of the songs after Summer Spring Winter Fall were a lot more like the Blu we all like. Except the last song Doin Something, but even that one sounded better than the beginning of the album.
this is amazing im really happy with how things are going with you all but i kinda miss that out of focus shots, i remember that was the first thing i noticed in the videos thank you all for all the viedeos and reviews, it always makes my day when i see you uploaded something :)
It's crazy all these years later, blu did an interview and said these were demo songs on noyork, the label wouldn't give him the money and let him finish the project, so they just put it out
This was one of the best reviews ever ! I don't listen to Blu that much but I like aggressive conversations like this , it adds opinionated truth and feelings to a review and I like that the most.
This vid makes me realise that I miss the outdoor/public settings you guys often had for reviews even though I know sometimes it is impractical for the sound - the last one I remember you guys did outside was for the last Lil Wayne release.
This may be my favorite dehh review of all time!! haha. I was laughin this whole thing! That Myke and Kinge argument. Classic shit! haha. 0:51 I felt like i was in a mario video game. lmao!! 5:23 Myke was goin off!! lmao!! I think the only time all the argument stopped was at 12:47 when a woman walks by and both Myke and Feefo were checkin her out lol. Great review though. Haven't listened to much material by Blu, but i think i need to check out this album now haha. I want to see some more of these older unreleased reviews.
This album is fantastic and I feel like it was before it’s time. I wasn’t a fan when it came out for many of the reasons C-Town mentioned, but I love it today. It’s in the top half of Blu’s discography.
The old days where you guys were a bit more casual. Reminded me why I fell in love with the show. I for one miss the old days of talking shit in the streets. Now you guys talk a bit more professional shit in the office, but don´t forget where you came from!
Why did it take so long to realease this? This review was great! I like how all the diffrent opinions clashed together. This is also why I like DEHH, because it's not just 1 guy telling his opinion, but 4 guys arguing. Love it!
Thank you BasedTown and Michael Kinge this shit was funnybut i get what kin was saying, they were both right lmao thats the fucked up thing. i also see why yall didnt release this at the early stages of DEHH, coulda been bad for a loook but now its a CLASSIC
I'm with C-Town on this one. Out of all Blu's material, I picked only a few tracks there vs. JESUS and Her Fave Colour, where all the songs were great in my opinion. It has some great moments, but I feel that he's turned lazy from there forward. Thankfully, Good to Be Home didn't divebomb further (as far as songs I liked). And goddd Kinge is on his mental struggle while C-Town flips his shit! This was hilarious!
Second half is like space-jazz bebop. First half is definitley electronic and metallic, robotic, bassy beats. Only tracks I didn't fuck with were TAGS, SLNGBNGRS, and DOIN NOTHIN (only kinda on this track.) I thought it was a way better experimental album than YEEZUS for example. I dig the atmospheric repetitive static in HOURS, love the hook and production on ANNIE HALL. SOUPA is a standout for me, and SPRING WINTER SUMMER FALL is pure poetry and it definitley is where the album clearly shifts to that bebop sound. I don't know see how it was all that inconsistent, the pattern was clear to me. HOWEVER, I did not like that a lot of this wasn't original production, the instrumentals were already exsisting tracks from other artists. That being said this is a hilarious and fun review to watch.
Thanks a lot Blu you almost ruined their friendship with your inconsistent tale of two halves album.
classic old school dehh, 25 seconds into the video and myke is hollering at feefo
Dawg I’m dead 🤣
"you're listening to it wrong" "its a tale of two halfes" lmao im fucking weak
Myke C-Town: "That does not negate the fact that the first half of the album was written for Nintendo"
Kinge: --------------
BODYBAG!!!!!!!!!
I love you guys. Wildly entertaining!!!
lmao, old school DEHH reviews were hilarious
When Kinge started using hand gestures at the wall to emphasize his point >>>>
Hilarious
Woah? Is this a throwback?
Yeah you blind moron 😾
You guys shut the fuck up Anthonys awesome yall are just jealous
i believe the phrase "this moose just took a dump in my cereal" comes to mind.
the way Ken was using the column as he was making hisbpoint though. lol

I feel like myke got laid after this video and he just hasn't been the same since.
lool
Why? Lol
Please don't rob us of classic reviews like this LOL. Modest if there's any reviews in the vault we the DEHH faithful have yet to see, PLEASE RELEASE THEM SHITS!
Y'all should make a top10 best DEHH flipouts video. Pulling from discussions and album reviews. That would be GOLD! haha
Holy shit this was an intense review. I was expecting a slap or something
C Town reminding me of the kid on the playground arguing about the rules of freezetag
25 seconds in and myke already snappin. I miss this myke c town
This is why I loved DEHH. It was contrasting opinions and people debating over how they view music. Now it just seems like everybody either agrees with each other or censors themselves. It's still a good show but it isn't the way it was.
word !
Indeed.
***** 100
I always wondered what people that walk by would think about all this lol
Incorrect
lmao this is why i started watching dehh it reminded me and my friends arguing over subjective topics like this
Lol, this is so meta! :p
Riley Sayle
don't get mad at me because you don't know how to internet.
A classic Myke-King throwdown!
fuckin lost it when myke said end it there and credits roll!!!
Classic DEHH
I'm so glad DEHH's production has improved since this video. Seriously was Modest Media filming this while riding a mechanical bull or something?
lol
i didnt mind the filming back then but i agree its improved a lot
"You're listening to the album wrong"
~Ken
this. is. classic
This is hilarious. But nothing beats the Myke-Kinge Throwdown on the Lil B review.
Calm down Office Ken ! Loll
I still don't understand what they are arguing about lol
I don't think they understood what they were arguing about
DEHH Drinking Game
Every time Kinge says "A tale of two halves", take a drink.
"Its a tale of two halves !" Lmao
I'm a bit disappointed that Myke didn't slap the shit outta Kinge
how come this was unreleased? this was clllllllaaaaaaasic!
Why you don't do reviews like this anymore. A nigga tired of seeing that dark ass room yall be in. Shit so plain and boring.
Lmao
Oh my God.
just by the fucking thumbnail you knew this was gonna be a classic LMAO
i actually love this video, the much more aggressive review style (in my opinion there more friendly in newer vids), the camera up really close in the face, being outdoors and Myke retro look. Flipping, fucking awesome
LOL there's an argument right from the beginning
Damn I miss these old style reviews.
"I'M ABOUT TO TELL YOU THE THING"
Kinge was actually right this time. Most of the songs after Summer Spring Winter Fall were a lot more like the Blu we all like. Except the last song Doin Something, but even that one sounded better than the beginning of the album.
This was the LA beat scene album. Flying Lotus, Daedelus, Samiyam, Exile, Sa-Ra, Madlib. Over ya’ head. I wonder if you get it now, 8 years later?
this is amazing
im really happy with how things are going with you all
but i kinda miss that out of focus shots, i remember that was the first thing i noticed in the videos
thank you all for all the viedeos and reviews, it always makes my day when i see you uploaded something :)
It's crazy all these years later, blu did an interview and said these were demo songs on noyork, the label wouldn't give him the money and let him finish the project, so they just put it out
DAMN. That got heated AF. But Mike def won
This was one of the best reviews ever ! I don't listen to Blu that much but I like aggressive conversations like this , it adds opinionated truth and feelings to a review and I like that the most.

Myke makes sense but loses his temper, sounds like he's easily offended pretty often.
This may be my favorite dehh review of all time!! haha. I was laughin this whole thing! That Myke and Kinge argument. Classic shit! haha. 0:51 I felt like i was in a mario video game. lmao!! 5:23 Myke was goin off!! lmao!! Nah the 50 cent roast on animal ambition was my shit
This video slept on fr yo
Gawwd, i miss this heated debates. Y'all have toned it down incredibly recently. Why?
This album is fantastic and I feel like it was before it’s time. I wasn’t a fan when it came out for many of the reasons C-Town mentioned, but I love it today. It’s in the top half of Blu’s discography.
"Like Mario's got a bad Mushroom" I'm done XD
12:45 Haha those turns
The old days where you guys were a bit more casual. Reminded me why I fell in love with the show.
I for one miss the old days of talking shit in the streets. Now you guys talk a bit more professional shit in the office, but don´t forget where you came from!

i also see why yall didnt release this at the early stages of DEHH, coulda been bad for a loook but now its a CLASSIC
Feefo actually DID agree with Ken; Myke & Beezy were the only 2 that said it went up and down.
I'm with C-Town on this one. Out of all Blu's material, I picked only a few tracks there vs. JESUS and Her Fave Colour, where all the songs were great in my opinion. Sivuyile Mntuyedwa they sound nothing alike
StokeCityFC44
Well to you they don't. I'm not mad at that.
"When I heard Yeezus", that's my opinion.
I wish i could make an album that does this to people ..lmfao this is great .
I miss this. Myke is still my favorite, but it seems like his opinions got neutered when he cut his hair.
