Glad Em isn't touching this upcoming album. Just Blaze is the executive producer. With Cardiak, Justice League, Araab Muzik, !llmind, and DJ Premier also handling the production on this new one.
Nah the point is Eminem lost his ear for good music...everything sounds popppy from him. And because he's a huge star Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf won't deny his advice...thus leading to some poppy sounding ass albums lol
Album was crap but damn cannot get the beat of hammer dance out of my head! Plus the lyrics were on point in that song. Regardless still after all these years the album has not got any better!
Joey's verse on "I'm Gone" says quite a bit... "I thought that we'd travel the same road, I thought that we’d never conform Don’t tell me you bastards tricked me, don’t tell me that I was just wrong ... Won’t be unhappy, I know how I get in this state If I let them fuck me this time, it'll be considered rape We were saviors on our own terms I’ve learned if any three of you have wavered Let me know so I can wave good... Nah"
Stephen Andrews damn he brought this specific verse up on his podcast dissing Eminem and shady records , he felt the same way as everyone else all alone .
I can definitely see "Throw It Away" on the radio and maybe one to two more. That may be it and even if they get on the radio, the spins will be short lived.
I just don't get the ponit why a group that already contains 4 dope MC's needs so many features... they should have made their own hooks and maybe 1-2 features of Em and Yelawolf
i love hip hop. just because i love the genre doesnt mean i have to take it so seriously and be close minded to one type of style of rap. i love both mainstream and underground hip hop. slaughterhouse is a mainstream group. i purchased this album and support them endlessly
"This is my muthafuckin liiiiife, my life, oh yeah!" It's like Em looked at his What Is Love sample on Recovery and did a half assed version of it here. To be fair you could apply that theory to a lot of the album!
Co-sign! As a fellow rapper, I completely agree with everything. I love hip-hop, but as a community there is so much hate and disagreement separating us. It's all a continuing debate over who's "real", what's dope, who's a hater, who's a stan, who's a sell-out. I just enjoy the music for what it is, and make the music that I enjoy.
Here one quote I can think of off the top of my head "Baby, you got some incredible skills, I want brain, you want shoes, True love’s always head over heels"...
Oh, and I wasn't amazingly impressed with the mixtape either, some really amazing gems on there but overall a bit underwhelming as well. Their first album, to me is one of the better records in the past five year, I love that shit to death, I'm a huge, huuuuge fan of them individually, but this just didn't cut it for me, which I feared. At this point, I pay for artists albums based on previous work, because right now, most major/full albums tends to be levels below earlier mixtapes/albums.
I love how you mentioned Lupe because that is exactly what these guys did. A year ago Joe Budden was supporting lasers he tweeted about how sick it was going to be etc.. I think partially Joe seen the success of lasers and tried to apply it to slaughterhouse. Im not saying he supports the sound but this is very similar to lasers, they released the mixtape because they knew there would be a backlash like lupe had when that sht came out. Im interested to see what happens with tgara though.
I loved the see-saw line haha. Overall agreed with the general review. The only thing I liked was the smooth transitions in Place to be. Mixtape was great though.
Damn you guys went super hard on this album. I admit i didnt like any of the songs with the word "Throw" in it but man there were a few of those with those hooks i was open to. Fuck it ill turn up a hook and turn down a verse every once in a while. I like 'music' and not just 'rap verses' and some of those with the hooks were good music to me. *shrugs*
my life was a standout track on this disc (and has a few quotables)....and overall i felt it allowed the emcee's to shine in a very individualistic way without taking away from the whole disc. i have to say as a east coast bred hip hop head it sounded east coast in it's whole style.
The Album had the Slaughterhouse we all know with dope Bars on Die , Our Way , Hammer Dance , Coffin , Asylum and Frat House .Goodbye and The Other Side were deep Emotional tracks . Our House , Flip a Bird and Rescue Me were great(If you "Hip Hop purists" can get over the hook) . My Life , Place to Be , Get up , Throw that where made for the mainstream audience and they did a good job at that . What more do you guys expect from a Major label release? this album's an easy 7.5 /10 for me.
I was actually expecting to like this album, I went in totally (well, kinda) knowing what to expect but still left disappointed, really, really let down by what these guys produced. I honestly think this was a cop out, especially considering how long, and how much they talked about not selling out and wanting to be respected and have their integrity intact instead of reaching commercial success.. so much for that. If they want to produce a project like this, make it a mixtape and hav fun wit it.
The more I listen to this one i think the review might be a little unfair. I agree about some of the production over powering the emcees because it's very loud and you miss the intricacies of the flow and bars BUT I've been really listening to the bars are there are some really witty very well crafted bars and flows on this album. Hasty judgment this time around. One man's opinion.
I listened to the 4 Deluxe Tracks on this album to see if I should buy the Deluxe Version but I didn't like any of them Asylum and Other Side were okay but I'm just gonna cop the standard edition though and see if its good. YO do you guys know an easy way I can download "On The House" onto my Ipod so I can have it on my library or do I need it jailbroken???
I listened to the two mixtapes and the two albums and this isn't as bad as everyone thought. I think you guys should do a 10 year review. If it was released nowadays how would it be received?
I'm pretty sure we said that we didn't expect 2 Chainz to blow us away lyrically. SH is in a whole other lane and what we expected from SH we got but only on the mixtape, not the album. We also mentioned in the review that the SH mixtape was dope so I don't understand the issue. We liked the mixtape but didn't care for the album. What's wrong with that? At the end of the day, SH got the praise they deserved in relation to what we wanted the album to be. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for rocking the shirt, Feefo!!!
theneedledrop where can we cop?
@@jordan12118 his website
gang shit
Ken was right. None of this shit hit radio lol.
i always see myself coming back to this video.. for 21:35
LOL this one and the 2012 wrap up video when Feefo was talking about the root word of ignorance.
***** haha never saw that one ill check it out now
It's been a year and none of these tracks were on the radio.
eminem had his recovery gloves on when helping with this album!
Lol dat needle drop shirt doe
"Im high like a baby on a seesaw with precious" lmaaaooooo
Man, that "It doesn't bump in the whip" was cold.
"And it just pisses me off listening to it." HAHA! My favorite DEHH review.
Damn, Feefo look mad as hell just thinking about this album haha
Joe budden said this exact same thing not too along😂😂
yo can someone make a montage of all the feefo beatings?
Glad Em isn't touching this upcoming album. Just Blaze is the executive producer. With Cardiak, Justice League, Araab Muzik, !llmind, and DJ Premier also handling the production on this new one.
***** Em Shouldn't Produce ANYBODY'S Albums. When Has It Ever Worked Out -- Through And Through, Front To Back ?!
no
Mitcholos 50 Cent
Then it never came out.
Nah the point is Eminem lost his ear for good music...everything sounds popppy from him. And because he's a huge star Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf won't deny his advice...thus leading to some poppy sounding ass albums lol

Beezy: "Flip the bird, flip the bird"
LOL
Flip a bird was bad.
Joey's verse on "I'm Gone" says quite a bit...

Nice! Glad you found us homie!
hammer dance, our house and rescue me was my shit
Good for you, man.
goodbye was AAAAAAAAAAAAMAZING
I can definitely see "Throw It Away" on the radio and maybe one to two more. That may be it and even if they get on the radio, the spins will be short lived.
The production is everything man it's what pulls you in.
I am really looking forward to seeing how many songs make the radio and receive substantial airplay. That will determine if this worked or not.
the needle drop shirt awesome
Dylan 03 if
This album didn't even sell well lmao rip
After everything we know now, shady records ruined Slaughterhouse and should just release Glass House
Wow Needledrop and DEHH dropping SH review on the same day! Fuck yeah :D
THIS IS WHAT'S UP... I BEEN LOOKING FOR A CHANNEL LIKE THIS
do a review on Joe Budden's : A Loose Quarter mixtape....pleaseeeee!
You guys really want them to review that. I've seen that on a few of their videos. I'm not if it's just you posting it or if it's multiple people.
I just don't get the ponit why a group that already contains 4 dope MC's needs so many features... they should have made their own hooks and maybe 1-2 features of Em and Yelawolf
Hammer dance is dope
Listening to the album, I was thinking, "Is Joell even apart of Slaughterhouse?!" Dude was no where to be heard.
Feefo rocking that needledrop shirt
Review House Rules
Just watched The Needledrop's review of this album... Nail meet hammer.
It's so easy to like Myke.
i love hip hop. just because i love the genre doesnt mean i have to take it so seriously and be close minded to one type of style of rap. i love both mainstream and underground hip hop. slaughterhouse is a mainstream group. i purchased this album and support them endlessly
the chorus to Get Up sounds like something one of those youth pastors at a church with a band would play. Fucking awful
"This is my muthafuckin liiiiife, my life, oh yeah!" It's like Em looked at his What Is Love sample on Recovery and did a half assed version of it here. To be fair you could apply that theory to a lot of the album!
Feefo's fade is on point
"I can't say It's bad, It's just a hunk of Shit for me" haha Damn
That's what's up man. Thanks for watching!
Whoa, haven't listened to the album yet and I'm suprised to hear this. i enjoyed and i still enjoy the mixtape
Ken aged 10 yrs in 3
Rod:I tell you I'm about to say a lie then I say a lie
Feefo: But you know its not the truth. Feefo is the realest funniest nigga ever
Co-sign! As a fellow rapper, I completely agree with everything. I love hip-hop, but as a community there is so much hate and disagreement separating us. totally understand that... i kinda do miss that raw shit that was on the first album
Here one quote I can think of off the top of my head "Baby, you got some incredible skills, I want brain, you want shoes, True love’s always head over heels"...
WOOOOW this is the first time I've seen Feefo give such a negative review lol
"On the House" top 5 best this year "Welcome to Our House" top 5 letdown this year.
Yeah...so far the tracks he's leaked have been awesome.
Damn mike ripped into "get up" that was my favorite song on the album, I also disagree with him on coffin, that hook is horrible!
Let me just say, ive been so lookin 4ward to this, and i knew it was goinng to be a long one, i havent watched it yt.. excited.
I think that y'all are saying that Slaughterhouse sacrificed their Emceeing ability in this album is comical.
That Reading Rainbow line killed me.
It sounds to me like Slaughterhouse is pretty much redefining their sound
I don't agree with Myke about "Get Up." I thought that was one of the better songs off the album.
Very honest review, I wish I spotted this video at the time. I felt so alone with my opinion haha.
Feefo is like my favorite reviewer right now.
Myke was right at 19:50 i've even heard them say that themselves in interviews.
"I can't say it's bad, but it was a hunk of shit for me" - Fantastic!
13:30 - C Town bodybagged the entire album
this shit is reeeeeeeeal bad. dead on as usual fellas.
I second that, I liked what I heard on the stream they had together
Oh, and I wasn't amazingly impressed with the mixtape either, some really amazing gems on there but overall a bit underwhelming as well. "baby you got incredable skills I want brains you want shoes, true loves always over head of heels" crooked i murdered every track!
"I'm high like a baby on a see-saw with Precious", LOOL. Sorry, I laughed at that line..that was funny. Not in a bad way either.
Oh wow that one song that they were completly bashing, the get up song is amazing. im going to look more into them man that song was impressive
Haha! I didn't catch that! What song was it?
No hate whatsoever! If you love it, love it and be proud to love it! Don't feel ashamed just because none of us cared for it. Thanks for the comment!
Slaughterhouse needed a few Alchemist beats, a Primo beat, and a few Khrysis beats, and I would've LOVED the album.
Feefo must've been taking notes from Fantano cause he's been on point lately !
my opinion about the album is that it is a good ablum i can understand why they made the album the way they did
I think it's been out for too long for DEHH to review.
One of my favorites of this year
Caught me out of nowhere
I think that most of the production on this album would have been perfect for an Em album.
Totally agree with Feefo on this review!
We mentioned the radio because it was obvious that's what they were going for. Overblown production and cheap hooks is what makes the radio nowadays.
First album was dope. They didn't have to change at all. It was the perfect formula. They just needed a marketing budget and Eminem's connects.
I teeter between mainstream & underground. I love this album, mixtape too.
they really like 2 chainz? lol! idk what to think I just subscribed. I love the slaughterhouse album and mixtape
lol I'm certain that you guys dont have to tell them to review Dedication 4... trust me, its on the way
I wanna hear yall review the mixtape so bad

This was a great review.. I feel like the song "Gone" from the Mixtape was better than any song on the album
Feffo be rocking Anthony lolol
Thanks for this comment. I didn't know this was out so i just bought it.
The mixtape kinda protected their rep.. As bad as the album is the mixtape was great.
Yo dawgs! Y'all better review that Murs and Fashawn project after it drops!
Problem is they are only projected to sell 50,000-60,000 in the first week....so was it really worth it to take that route?
I was actually expecting to like this album, I went in totally (well, kinda) knowing what to expect but still left disappointed, really, really let down by what these guys produced. Review new-old Blu & Exile - Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them. It's fucking awesome.
I listened to the two mixtapes and the two albums and this isn't as bad as everyone thought. I think you guys should do a 10 year review. If it was released nowadays how would it be received?

Thank u!! Finally someone agrees with me that slaughterhouse isn't the same anymore
